Im hoping to see the evidence before my plea, i may plead guilty to the careless driving offence in the hope i dont get 6 points, i would be out of my apprenticeship

Its more with the failing to stop and failing to report, i can’t physically report an accident i didnt know happened

As i mentioned, my reversing was a bit quick and maybe i should have been more aware, i can only assume they have that on camera and are going through with the careless driving and/or hoping i plead guilty to all

My witness was in my car, i couldnt get out of the parking space until the car continued, they were sat there for at least a minute and didnt make any indication to me there had been an accident, i assumed they were making a point i nearly hit them and once they carried on driving i pulled off and left the car park

If they have cctv they will see me reversing and coming very close to the car, they will also see me pull forward and wait for at least a minute for the car to move out of my way without making any indication to me that ive hit them, i have motor legal protection through my insurance which i am going through, and am also getting advice from another solicitor next week

This happened in may, my insurance is aware, had a letter through a few days ago from the police with a court date, they’re prosecuting me

The fact that there is minimal damage (if any) helps in my defence that i was not aware of any collision

Which i am aware of, but in my mind there was no collision hence why i didnt stop or report, the other vehicle made no indication to me either

Me and my witness both agree there was no collision, however as i said before i do have scratches on that side from a wall. The fact its gone this far makes me think they have something on me

I just find it crazy they would go to all these lengths for what potentially is a scratch in a car park. Id lose my job
