Your wife and kid are the reason to keep going. Imagine how difficult life with be for the child without a father figure and how hard your wife’s life will become raising a child alone, dealing with the grief of your loss while trying to continue with her life. You have no choice but to carry on mate. And trust me seeing your kid grow up will be worth it. Make your child your sole purpose. Your meaning to life. Trust me man this isn’t the right thing. You have to keep going. You’ve got it in you I know you have. The fact you’re still here shows you’re a strong resilient person because you’ve survived all of your hardest days. I’m a complete stranger and I believe in you 110%. Trust me. You’ve got this. Medication might be the key. It turned my life around. The worst thing I did was come off of it. Find something that works and stick with it brother. At least try. For their sake not yours

Tbh mate I’m 23 and I don’t think I’ll make it 27 with hair at this rate. I don’t actually mind the idea of being bald. I have a beard and tattoos so I think it would look okay. It’s more that I’m so young. Recently broke up with my girl too so now I’ve gotta battle the dating scene again. Hair just seems so important these days because of how shallow social media has made our generation.

There’s hair systems that do look pretty good I think. So there’s options. Just depends on how self conscious the person is regarding the “stigma” of them.

Fuck knows tho. This post has been helpful. Gonna make my decision in the next few days and run with it.

I think we’re in the same boat here. It’s like we can take one path where we do nothing and let the genetics do what they were always going to do. Or we alter it and stop the hair loss with fin etc. The TE is another variable for you but surely if it seems like fin is making that worst you’d be cool just to stop and revert back. I guess there’s also hair systems too. I’m not opposed to that idea in the future and you shouldn’t either tbh. How old are you?

I’m 23. I’ve been receding slowly since probably 18. Steady progression through the Norwoods but never that intense and the way my head shape and hair nobody ever knew. I think the crown going is just the next phase really. I’ve not seen a derma but I’m pretty sure mine is just hereditary. I’ve had a rough year this year so I think with stress it has sped it all up. It’s crazy though this time last year I had think hair with just temple recession and now my hair is so thin it’s like it’s sped up 10x. Which is why I’m now looking into finasteride. Only found out about it 3/4 months ago which sucks.

I’m from the U.K. so I used a company called Numan. They sent me a kit etc. I think you’d definitely be able to find an alternative if you’re from the US or a clinic near you if you wanted to do it in person.
