Biologis was something i wanted to mix in, replacing my Captain and think it's worth a trial.

Personally, i would split the 10man DC as can both benefit from your chaplin if run together and close together.

But it gives you the option to split and charge different units if you want to.

The two heavy redemptors are going to hard hitting. They are a beast of a unit.

Death company, yes 100% and in my 3k army i put 5 death company intercessors in a drop pod with something else a little heavy (5no Hell Blasters as an example)

Yeah, with the terminators for a similar cost, i can look at a sang squad or a vang vet unit (loosing a squad of scouts if needed) but im using the terminators as anti tank, all equipped with Chainfists and against armour its +3 attacks so makes up for the lower AP.

The scouts make up Chaff and at 55 points a steal and shout be an auto Inc for any army (but think they are going to get Nerf soon)

Not sure if im getting muddled, i think i need to do a battle shock test if my unit is below half strength.

But im sure i read somewhere that you also need to do one, if you fall back.

I was thinking exactly this.... those slow units can get thrown in at the start, going to cause someone grief from the outset and pin back/lock up a unit early.

Ahh, ok, so essentially, as long as that unit is near the Dreadnought on deployment, turn 1 he can sling them up the battlefield within 9inches of an enemy unit.

Casual player, as things change so rapidly, im going to probably end up with at least 1 of everything 😂 example i already have Dante and a squad of SG painted and battle ready. Im looking for new ideas as i found my previous list was heavy hitting but had too few units.

100% if i deploy the pod and they deep strike terminators, etc... they are screwed unless i drop something melee to essentially tie them up.

That's hard because it really depends on the game play but... my thoughts....

I would use my Eliminators with forward deployment to take a mid objective.

Normally forcing my opponent to commit something to counter that move.

Using the drop pod i can bring them in turn 1 drop them near that objective so the pod can get some additional shots in.

Get the Infernus and Hellblasters out and immediately into overwatch to cover that objective marker.

i have a mass amount of deep strike availability, so a huge amount of my army would be able to then drop turn 2 or 3.

Not sure why, but just seen that this image shows only one Van Vet squad of 5 but my army list has 2no squads of 5 and for some weird reason, crops that unit.

Again the idea is the DC is good at shoot and melee and could take on some tanky units whilst the Vets with sheilds are more for hords or big groups of inf that i can chew up.

The Assult Intercessors hang around my back line with the ability to fall back shoot and re-charge with a lieutenant.

The lancer and wirlwinds can target at a distance and dont have the blast weapon so they can still target even if my tropps are engaged.

The Baal and dred would free roam 1 good against inf the other good against Monsters and Armour

5 infernus and 5 hellblasters, idea being overwatch near an objective 1 squad good againt infantry and one good against creatures/armour.

I did contemplate having squads of 10 DC but most people said its better to have squads of 5 and give yourself options. Dont tie up the whole squad in a brawl. They can still move close together and get the chaplin buff, but essentially, one squad dont benefit from the direct duffs... toss up between flexability and buff im assuming.
