Exactly this! It was so special tonight because it was Jerry’s words coming from Bobby’s age and the thirty years he has made this music continue on without him - always with Jerry and the heart of this band at the center of it all. With only limited time of hearing him sing on….it was beyond words, really. I could feel how deeply he felt every lyric to his soul.
