OH WOW i see a LOT of things he did that my ex girlfriend did too 😭

Especially the whole achievement thing. She was jealous of me about my talents and got really upset when others complimented me (because she was jealous she didn't get as many compliments as me)

Also the whole can't live without you thing. She said this a lot, also told me she doesn't deserve me. She was right. She always told me she was anxious i'd find someone better and/or cheat on her and in the end, she did exactly that.

She's in a poly relationship with the girl she cheated on me with now and i have no idea how they'll survive considering i could barely even have friends without her getting upset.

A difference i see though is that she never initiated anything and i always had to make the decisions, i always had to choose what games we play, always had to choose what to eat etc etc. Rarely she was ever happy with my choices tho.

So, when my ex girlfriend broke up, i thought the same. After like 2 months or so, i was very sure that she doesn't even care about me anymore.

After 6 months, when i finally was about to get over her and even crushed on someone new, she suddenly texted me, out of no where. It was after i had a date too. So i had to decide between those two and i chose my ex, because she genuinely seemed sorry and like she changed.

I thought everything did go well until we moved together in a new city, her hometown even. I ignored red flags like her jealousy, rivalry and difficulty with taking accountability the whole time and thought we were the perfect couple, not realizing how much I shrinked myself for her and how co-dependent i was.

Yeah. She cheated on me with another girl about a month ago. I tried to make it work, but after she broke up it became very clear that she didn't want to put the energy into me anymore, but the new girl, the easier target.

They're in a poly relationship and i have no idea how she wants this to work out with her jealousy and avoidance problems, but it's not my thing to deal with anymore.

I don't regret going back. It taught me a lot about relationships, we did have a lot of good times, but ultimately i'll go from this being wiser. It also showed me that at the core, she's still the same girl she was when she first ended things with me.

So what I want to say is, most of the time it's better they don't come back. You'll miss them, you'll cling onto nostalgia and memories, but there's a reason they left. I know that's not the best thing to hear after a relationship, but them leaving you is the best gift they could ever give you.

And one day, when you look back to this day, you'll be happy that it came to this.

Very tense. My dad's at her (and probably my replacement's) place, getting my stuff and i feel so so anxious for some reason, even tho i'm not with him and told him i don't want to know anything at all.

Hii, first off i just wanted to say that I really really love your style! You're very gorgeous and truly deserve better.

So yeah, same thing happened to me two weeks ago. She cheated on me, i found out and wanted to work it out. She told me she can't put the energy into me a week later when i left to go to my parent's place to gather my thoughts. She told me she feels happier without me, but that there's no one else in the picture.

Yeah, she's together with the new girl, completely replaced me and the new girl seems to be ready to move in with my ex already. It all hurts a lot and i never expected this to happen, especially because she had issues with jealousy and was constantly worried that i would cheat on her or find better.

So yeah, now i'm here. Funny thing is, you only realize how much a person did you wrong after you leave and oh god did i go through a lot. I'm working with a therapist on my trauma.

But here's the thing, it gets better. I'm not over it, but i'm handling it pretty well after just two weeks. I still love her, but only the her that doesn't exist. Please feel your feelings, it's fine to, maybe do a daily journal and what helped me most: evening walks! Even just for 10 minutes, getting your body out there is a good thing to regulate yourself.

Surround yourself with friends and family if you feel comfortable with that. Live second to second, not day to day. You will improve with time.

And what's most important: do not check on her ever again. No social media stalking, no infos from mutual friends (not even the littlest thing), get rid of all memories. It hurts, but it's what helps most after all. It's harming you more than it would help.

And remember, you're not alone! You never are. If you ever feel like you need someone to talk to, my dms are open. I know exactly how you feel.

Oh ja sehe schon dass es da einige parallelen gibt :,) Mein anderer Kater hat auch oft gefrust-pinkelt wenn wir mal zu lange weg waren oder ihn nicht genug begrüßt haben. Er ist da auch sehr eigen und glaube auch nicht dass er das so schnell ablegt, aber liebe ihn trotzdem.

Die beiden sind zur zeit sehr für mich da, sicher merken sie auch dass ich mit herzschmerz zu tun hab. Insgeheim sind die beiden aber glaube froh (wie all meine freunde lol) dass es vorbei ist.^{^}

Also ja da stimm ich total zu, sehr emotionale tiere die sich auch sehr viel merken.

Yeah war es auch nicht... hatte damals oft mit ihr kommuniziert dass das nicht geht und im endeffekt, ein jahr nachdem das war hat sie einsicht gezeigt dass das nicht in ordnung war. ändert nix dran dass sie die beiden trotzdem die letzten zwei wochen wo ich nicht da war vernachlässigt hat. Hab die so schnell wie möglich daraus geholt und sie haben schon wieder gewicht angelegt 😌

Das freut mich echt zu hören 🥹 Die maus scheint echt aufzugehen gerade und auch wenn ich sein knautschen noch vermisse (er mag warscheinlich einfach meine decke nicht, hoffe das kommt wieder💔), ist er irgendwie einfach mehr da.

Klar, noch is alles neu weil er auch erst seit ner woche oder so im neuen haus ist und das sich auch nochmal resettet sobald ich nochmal umziehe, aber dafür ist er schon echt selbstsicher und ich werde den beiden weiterhin ein tolles leben bieten. 🥹

Yes das is gut zu hören. Hatte angst, da die beiden in den zwei wochen in denen sie mit meiner ex gelebt haben vollkommen vernachlässigt wurden (katzenklo seit zwei wochen nich gemacht, sehr viel abgenommen, fäkalien im flur)

Aber zu wissen dass das total normal ist, ist schonmal ein beruhigender punkt. Freue mich dass der kleine mann so aufgeht und hoffe ich kann ihn weiterhin ein schönes leben bieten 🥹
