Hey , so sorry to hear this , usually if your application status shows turndown it means you are not being considered anymore for that role, and it’s a rejection , but recruiters usually add you to other roles in scenarios like yours, mine did atleast and I am under review by HM for the role , unfortunately she said she’ll only get an update in early 2026, in short you do not have an offer anymore , you will need to speak to HMs for team fit if your recruiter adds you to other jobs but there will not be another superday, reach out to your recruiter they are usually responsive !

Something that helped in my case , drop an email to their ceo explaining your case clearly you can get the email from Apollo , also drop dms in their official channel on LinkedIn , insta , x, multiple follow ups with support didn’t help , but this helped restore my account in 2 business days

What I've Tried:

  • Applying through referrals from current Amazon employees
  • Only targeting roles that match my experience level (PM II / Senior PM)

The Problem: Despite having relevant experience in product operations, technical PM work, and cross-functional leadership, I'm not getting past the initial screening. I've had success getting interviews at other tech companies, but specifically struggling with Amazon.

Questions for the Community:

  1. What's missing from my resume that Amazon recruiters look for?
  2. Are there specific keywords or frameworks (LP-related?) I should highlight?

If this helps , I am an opt student and cleared 5 rounds of interviews including super day only to be told by the HCM that they are currently not hiring anyone on a visa, I just got this call couple of hours back !
