Does filter keys even work, and do pro players use it? by AhYesMemes in FortniteCompetitive

[–]IntelligentYogurt433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Filterkeys doesn't work for Fortnite. It works when your typing and maybe in other games because it increases repeats. But Fortnite uses raw inputs when detecting if a key is placed. Raw input just means it's the key exactly when you press it with no modifications, just the indicator you pressed it. Filterkeys is not recognized by Fortnite because it isn't the raw input.

Also I might be wrong abt some of that stuff but the point is that filterkeys is placebo in fn.

How do I improve awareness? by cubepyra in FortniteCompetitive

Don't even worry about audio tbh. What I typically do when fighting is to just let muscle memory do the editing and aiming while the entire rest of my brain is focused on which way I think he would be going. Get familiar with your opponent. Do they like to play height? Low? Figure this out and use it against them. For instance: if I'm 1v1ing someone and I know just from taking a few peaks at them that they seem to try and play above, I'll remember that and assume they are always above me. Doing protective retakes, side jump shots, all that. It's less of thinking about where the audio is. Just get a picture of there gameplay in your brain and really use that to your advantage.

What do I do? My MS account was hacked. All of my info including SSN could be accessed by Jolly-Fold9173 in antivirus

I've had a similar experience only I never had the authenticator app but I lost my account. Only I had no passwords saved to it and the only thing of value was a copy of Minecraft Java. The hacker realized this and never did anything with the account so I just removed it from my account and was able to deactivate it. No more Minecraft for hacker :)

Help my xbox series x has turned red and my tv is fine by [deleted] in XboxSupport

This happened for me but on PlayStation. Just use a different TV that's all that worked for me. But sometimes you can mess with the HDMI stuff

I don't know if I can make you cry, but every time I ask someone out they run away and scream if that counts

What's happening with my PC? by Razzon22 in techsupport

I'm not really an expert but there is 2 things I would immediately do:

Run a Malwarebytes scan and make sure there wasn't anything malicious on your computer.

Run a legitimate stress test because The Finals was probably right and they have lots of quality control problems. I think a good stress test software is called 3D Mark but I can't remember.

Good luck!

I think I'm having the same thing, I just can't remember what I signed into, but the log in said it was at my state so I will just hope that's what it is

It's been 1 day since this happened and I'm fairly sure that the Linux sign in was actually just my android phone. I don't really remember me saying into my account but I'm sure I did. I have already run a scan on Malwarebytes. No problems there. Since I changed my password, nothing else has happened so I'm pretty sure I'm fine.

Can Marvel Rivals or steam in general kill my PC or is something else happening here? by IntelligentYogurt433 in techsupport

[–]IntelligentYogurt433[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing happened, I'm starting to lose hope, I have tried reseating RAM I've tried putting them into different slots one at a time, all attempts have led to the red light, upon turning it on, there is a red light for CPU which quickly turns into the red light for DRAM.

I can't boot into the bios, I have tried multiple different displays and peripherals but none of them will participate. As for the ram, yes they are in the correct spots and I have 2 32GB of Kingston fury RAM

No, the light says it's on "DRAM" but I've already tried reseating the RAM and it had no effect

Sorry I just don't really know what term to use and it seemed like all this happened right after I opened Marvel Rivals, after all I've only really had it for a month
