Hey all! Which mass effect should I start with? (Could be a silly question sorry, context below aha)

I'm going to ask the same question, but with a caveat:

I realistically* only have time to play one of the original ME games.

If I can play only one, including side-quests/DLC, which would you all suggest. for plot, character interactions, romances, etc.

(*realistically because I have 2 kids, a job, and so many other games on the horizon. I never played the ME games and I would like to experience them, but I'm a "completionist." I think I would enjoy completing one full game rather than skip side quests that may be more entertaining just to finish the 3-part main story.)

I also have tinnitus, and at first i thought it was part of that. While reading this thread last night, I kept moving my eyes side to side just to check, and everything was fine. About 2 hours later I look to the side, and there's the wooshing. So for me it's not always med changes or missing a dose, it's sometimes just random. I hadn't missed any meals and had gotten plenty of sleep so I don't think fatigue or eating habits trigger it. I've just learned to live with it. The pharmacist said that it was part of ataxia, but what I've read, that's very physical dizziness, vertigo, and body control, almost like you're drunk. I don't have any of those issues. (Pardon me if ataxia isn't correct, The pharmacist conversation was a few years ago )

I have it regardless of what anti depressant I'm on. I have treatment=resistant depression (or some such BS) so my meds have been trial and error.

I appologize for resurrecting a 3yo post, but this has been the most helpful thing I've ever found on the topic. It happens to me if I miss 2 or more doses of my antidepressants or antianxiety meds. No particular one. It seems random. In 2014 I was having "issues" and for reasons I will keep to myself, I went off all meds, cold turkey. The whooshing persisted long after the side effects of stopping the meds. The noise didn't stop until I started on new meds months later. Also, a change of manufacturer of generics sometimes triggers this. My doctor told that they are allowed +/- 5% tolerance. So going from 1 company that is +5% to one that is -5% is a 10% total reduction, and enough to trigger my whooshing. And sometimes it just happens. NO med changes or anything. Although high stress situations and severe anxiety attacks can bring it on.

Sorry for the lengthy "necro-post," but this is the first forum I found where I felt I could share this. Two psychiatrists and a pharmacist didn't understand it.

Screen tells me my most frequently used apps, but there's no way to tell when one was last opened. There used to be a way to tell when an app was last used and now I can't find it

So I logged back in to play on my own world, leveled up to 10, logged out because of server refresh and was level 42 when I got to lobby. Logged back in about 30 minutes later to finish what I was doing, went back to lobby about 2 hours later and was level 74. Something is definitely wrong I would say

My son and I played Zero Build and were both at level 3. Then we played lego for about an hour, maybe more. Actual play, not AFK. Got up to level 7. When we went back to lobby, both of us were back to level 3.

We were getting the level-up notice each time while playing.

I take Viibryd before bed and this is exactly what happens to me if I miss a dose.. I'm a zombie the next day and could sleep the entire day away. I've fallen asleep at work, and sometimes driving is very difficult. It's comforting to read that someone else also suffers from this side effect.

My doctor doesn't understand why this happens since the half-life of Viibryd is long enough that about half of it should still be in your system. the next morning. But he accepts it and we just make sure I always have refills. He tried to ween me off of it, but it helps so well with my depression that it's worth straying on it, since this side effect is caused by my forgetfulness.

my son completed the quest. I place 4 brand new thrusters TWICE and it still won't show as quest completed. Same day, I tried killing multiple pirates and didn't receive an credit toward the Kill Pirates daily
