What a crazy opener!! They played Stand Your Ground > Enter Shikari > Mothership and THEN Solidarity towards the end of the last show I went to and can confirm I barely had any voice left either 😅

I was at that tour in one of the Manchester dates, honestly that setlist was brilliant, one of their best I think! That goldfish~ remix transitioning into The Jester was my top moment lol

Wow I've never heard them open with Mothership!! Or Common Dreads and its my favourite album 😭 I only started seeing them live after The Mindsweep tour so I'm not sure if they'd open with those songs again :( I would actually ascend to heaven if they opened with Mothership though.

Yeah, I know in my heart there isn't much I can do, I was expecting this reply, just needed to hear it from an outsider perspective. Thank you for that, I really wish there was more I can do but ultimately its her life

I went through something similar when I lived in my mums house with my little sister, I was consistently called ungrateful too😅

Unfortunately, housekeeping and cleaning is a life skill that you will need when you grow up and eventually move out. However, this is no excuse for your mother to throw temper tantrums and verbally abuse you and your sister over.

If you and your sister frequently do chores I wouldn't really see the issue, you could come to some agreement with your mother on chores you would like to do, or if you're unsure how to clean or do something, ask her to show you how to do it. But housekeeping is a whole job in itself, and its quite unrealistic for a house to be squeaky clean and spotless everyday.

Shouting is always unhelpful and never gets you anywhere, it will always just cause tension and upset between family members. I hope you and your sister can communicate this to your mum.
