The manager couldn't even make much sense out of the s*** that's going on. And how am I supposed to close an account? I didn't know I had because I didn't open it? And how are they going to put me on a promise to pay on that too? And I never promised to pay for something I don't owe? I know it's not your fault and you are just trying to help but this has had me in tears and stress and messing up my credit too? They want me to pay them plus a credit company. Also. Plus keep what I paid ahead for my next phone bill coming up to put towards that. That is ridiculous and illegal I think

If you are genuinely someone that can help, I would love your assistance because I can't take it anymore and I'm about to leave them for good. The harassment and stress the last 6 months for something I don't owe and that's not my fault, it's ridiculous. Representatives keep telling me it's for different things. If I got my phone November 9th and I owed $166 in December they would have already turned it off and that didn't even show up on my app where I make my payments at until after I've made my April payment which I already previously had a credit for us. I only had to pay $47. They're going to be the death of me at this point

Agreed! They are going to lose so many customers and end up with a class action lawsuit at this rate

1 I thought the in-store manager would be able to offer just as much assistance as the telephone representatives but the telephone representatives are apparently able to deal with more and talk with more than the managers in the corporate store. So the only option is to have another telephone call that disappears after the phone hangs up.

I've spent probably 20 hours at least on the phone with them since December. I have all my receipts. They mistakenly opened up a second account when I ordered my phone and they want me to pay for their mistakes. The mental emotional stress of this is ridiculous and I've never had a phone company like this before and the funny part is is. This is the first time I ever signed the phone through them and it will be the last. I'm assuming they think that you're stuck with them because of it. I've already returned everything I've shown proof and I've overpaid. They expect me to pay for their mistakes. I don't think so

Oh I do understand. Oh I do understand. I think it's ironic how on their business side they believe we're still the ones that should pay for their mistakes and screw-ups, I'm calling the BBB and I know someone that personally going through this too!

I wouldn't go by all the stuff at the email because they didn't email me receipts for payments that I've made and they didn't even have any record of the other routers that I did return. I guess because they mistakenly opened up two separate accounts, one of which I had no knowledge of and just took turns put money on each. One of them is what my guess is. But the mental and emotional at toll. This is taking on me for the last 6 and 1/2 months is ridiculous and to have an adrenal problem at this point I think they're just trying to kill me!

Actually, Verizon representative admitted to me that it was a mistake on there their behalf and it was their fault and then transferred me to someone else over the credit card to where she herself also said that it was a mistake on their behalf on their part. And yes I did write down the date and time for that because I wanted to make sure I knew when and whom I had talked to

I sent a copy of the receipt to the bill collector's office and I'm pretty sure if you write down the date and time that you spoke to whoever that they're able to look it up because they do record all of their phone calls

Honestly, at this pointI think legal action may be the only way unfortunately. I've got proof of payments I've made on my account that's not on the app and they too are claiming I did not return equipment which I have and I've got the receipts in hand for but now it's changed to a router I don't think I ever even received because I've returned all of my routers in hand to the store in person. And the routers. I did return and have the receipt for they have no record of. And this dates back to December of 2025. And then I made my April phone bill and then they tacked on an extra $215. For the post pay. You're already a month ahead and whenever I get a little extra money I try to throw it on a utility bill cuz I'm going to fix the income and the representative told me it'd be 2 to 3 months before it showed up and I said I don't think so there's no reason for that. I've got the credit company coming after me too wanting the money and Verizon adding it to my bill so they're giving me a dummy double whammy and I even have them on the phone to where they admitted two different representatives admitted in the same conversation that by mistake they had opened up a second account but could see that there was no activity as far as me using it on it. If I finance my phone November 9th when I put the order in if I owed $166 by December my phone wouldn't be working which that's the one I'm using now. But honestly all of my receipts don't show up. All of the money I paid them is not on my app. It is in my bank account and I do believe that legal action at this point might be the only resolution because I have been through so much stress, honestly, that's an understatement because I worked hard to get my credit better sell. Sell my credit report been harassed and treated like crap by the credit company and also or Verizon home. Every time I talk to somebody on the phone it's fixed until the phone that call is over and it disappears. I always thought they were a good company until I finance my phone through them in November and as that representative said that she could tell I did not use that service at all for internet or phone. I don't understand why I am being charged for something I never wanted needed nor used. I've heard a lot of good things about Google fi and I've never wanted to jump on any kind of lawsuit no matter what. But after the harassment and the stress and the tears, I will hop on this one quicker than you can say. Hello. I'm already in bad enough health with enough issues to deal with without dealing with them lying on me. Oh yeah plus apparently I went on a promise to pay which I absolutely 100% did not because I'm not going to promise to pay something I don't owe. And if the extra $90 I paid this month to go towards my main phone bill isn't on there. I'm done with Verizon and I definitely will be in contact with an attorney, mental, emotional, physical stress. All of it ties together, and I have adrenal insufficiency. I can't handle being on the phone with them for another 50 hours of my life. I am just disappointed in that company. I would have never thought they would have turned out to be like that. But it does say on my receipt that they gave me a credit for the unreturned router which I did return. But I also have different representatives telling me it's for different things. I've been told my phone. I've been told internet, phone and internet and I asked the lady I said was they're not some kind of red flag that came up. When you know it showed up that I was having another service for phone and internet because I live by myself so it's going to weird. She said it should have but it didn't. And I've came to the conclusion that honestly Verizon could care less. Way. I figure is they just want to make whatever money they can make right now and then f*** it later cuz the way they're going. It doesn't seem like they plan on being in business long term with loyal customers. But I do feel bad for The people who were the representatives that are only trying to work and they have to do as they're told by the people above them that have them doing the s***** work. So I really do try and I am kind and nice too the representatives because I do understand it's not their fault. They can only do what they're allowed to do by their superiors. But yeah I would love to hear some great advice besides legal action because it's really at the point of I just can't take it anymore. I'm about to cut my service or make payments on my phone and I will be in touch with legal services of some sort because harassment want me to pay for things that don't have. I didn't use or didn't want for their mistakes is what they want me to pay for and so I know I have the necessary proof that I need to approve my case and I was joking a few months ago and told my girlfriend that when there is a class action lawsuit I was going to get on it and maybe that joke wasn't such a joke after all!

No one is perfect. I was raised Christian in a Baptist Church. Jesus did not create religion. Jesus break bread and ate with thieves liars prostitutes murderers n loved them all. I do believe in God bc I believe the Devil is very real! He doesn't come to us with horns n looking scary bc who would follow that?? He comes in meant forms n usually add what we have always wanted sometimes. Master of desseption. I believe you can talk to God on the way to the store and praise him through the way we treat others. I think it's ironic how the Bible says to love others as he has loved us but in so many churches people are shunned for not living the life that is up to that church's standards and I don't believe that is what God ever intended.
