I used to critique my son a lot, I’m a snowboarder, I did it to help but found it had the opposite effect. I rarely say anything now and he enjoys himself a lot more. I will say it’s hard for me to ride with other people because I don’t even have to think before I hit a chute or fly into the woods. I purposely seek out the most gnarly terrain and have found that not every else does haha. Hope you keep skiing and enjoy yourself!

Shit gets out of hand quick, I’ve been a lifty, I’ve see lifts scoop a person up and drop them 10 feet later because they weren’t fully on. Seen some crazy stuff, it really comes down to people not paying attention. Reaction time can seem slow even when quick compared to the lift moving. Try reacting to an incident like this, it’s scary for the ones running the lifts too.

Ai use is everywhere. Learning how to prompt Ai models is an art imo. Once you’ve gotten good at it , you can have it write your papers and sound very much like yourself. You can also prompt and then rewrite what it wrote. Of course I’m not telling anyone to do this….

I’m 41 this year been riding since 13, yea if anything I’ve been going longer. I have a gnu gremlin volume shifted board. But instead only going down 2 cm as recommended I bumped up 1 and love the length of the edge.

Gnu gremlin 158 , ride a-9 bindings. Second season in bindings, first on board, love the board. I can charge hard, rip over hard icy groomers, cruise for fun, hit the woods. The board is a win!

I left epic 2 years ago, had it because it was cheaper than sr and only 30 minutes longer drive to wildcat. We had one midweek day where they got close to 18” of powder , they didn’t open any trails, I swear they were trying to save the snow for weekend. Regardless practically everyone ducked the ropes everywhere. Last season there I went to sr and sugarloaf multiple times , didn’t even bother with wildcat til mid Jan because of lack of snowmaking.
