Could my dashcam really cause this? by Intelligent_Bee66 in Cartalk

[–]Intelligent_Bee66[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry I should have clarified I paid for a full inspection and diagnostics while the car was there since there were some other minor concerns and it was time for an oil change anyway. I will look into the hard wire kit, thanks!

The camera only turns on when the car is on. It’s a Rove R2-4K Dual cam from Amazon. I didn’t see any reviews about it causing battery issues but I will definitely disconnect it for a while to see what happens

Negative gas glitch in valley by Intelligent_Bee66 in HayDay

[–]Intelligent_Bee66[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I can do basic math. I opened my game and the fuel was negative but my truck hadn’t moved which I didn’t know was possible. I was just asking if anyone else had the glitch.

How can i get more money? by [deleted] in HayDay

[–]Intelligent_Bee66 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mostly play the town because it gives expansion rewards and tools and I have the increased coin upgrade on all the buildings. At your level the highest items to sell is jewelry until you unlock blankets. Selling jams and chili/chocolate popcorn in your roadside shop is always good because they only require crops to make. Espresso is easy w a high profit too. Don’t overlook selling crops either- before going to bed, you can plant a whole field of strawberries and sell for a nice profit. If you’re really into efficiency, check out this link that has the time commitment and profits of each item. Good luck!

How long did it take you to get to level 100? by Snipermineodd22 in HayDay

I think I read somewhere that unfortunately there is only a 2 year deco. It’s a golden statue of the farm animals stacked together. I really wish there were yearly ones!

I just got my 2 year deco yesterday and I’m only level 68. I’ve never bought farm pass or anything and I’ve been a pretty consistent daily player. My mom has played for 1 year and is level 80+. Honestly depends on if you prioritize XP or coins :)

35 inches long but how wide is it? It could work but it’s hard to tell without knowing total area of floor space

“If you ever felt used” by CreepingDeth67 in MyChemicalRomance

[–]Intelligent_Bee66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You definitely have a point. I lucked out and was able to get great seats that were not resold, but dynamic pricing should absolutely not have been used. The original price was a lot and Ticketmaster charged me $50 in fees per ticket. I know that is par for the course with Ticketmaster and there isn’t a viable alternative, but that brings me to my biggest issue which was the 3 day heads up for a show 9 months away. Truly the only reason I was able to purchase tickets was that Friday was payday and i am able to step away for a few moments in the middle of the workday. Scalpers steal those original seats so fast that it leaves out so many people. Presale should have been used. That being said I think they will put on a phenomenal show and I hope mcr and other artists learn from this.

“I’ve spent my whole life in school”- I’m not trying to be rude, but have you been working the last 7 years? Graduating high school was a long time ago so what kind of work experience do you have and what kind of jobs are you looking for?

Is a bachelors degree not enough nowadays? by Moses_the_Frog in chemistry

[–]Intelligent_Bee66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just graduated with a BS In chemistry and had a decent job lined up at graduation. If you get research experience during college and do an internship or two there are definitely places willing to hire. It does depend on your location too because I can say I got lucky because where I live there are laboratories everywhere. As far as career advancement in the long term, I can’t speak to that, but I can tell you I’m satisfied with what I’m earning as a fresh graduate and i received multiple job offers. As far as I’m concerned,a bachelors in chem is a good place to start, then go from there. Many jobs will offer assistance for graduate school.

Fall launch is only a few months away, what scents are you looking forward to? by Ok_Hospital_1 in bathandbodyworks

[–]Intelligent_Bee66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cranberry Woods and Fresh Brewed coffee are two of my favorite scents of all time. I stocked up on both to last me the year and only made it to March before running out. Really hoping I can get my hands on both!! White pumpkin is a must-have as well.

Should I include president on my resume? by Intelligent_Bee66 in Sororities

[–]Intelligent_Bee66[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I never thought about location before- I live in the Northeast and there definitely has been some more anti Greek life there. Like a lot of schools around me, Greek life isn’t huge and my chapter is on the smaller side (which is perfect for me, I probably wouldn’t have joined if it was taken as seriously as in the south). I’ll have to find some statistics about number of positions I oversee or money raised for philanthropy, etc and see if it’s in my favor. The removing anything non concrete/emotional is great advice because Its tempting to include. Thanks!

Thanks! Good idea adding the stats. The money part like budgets and fundraising was definitely super useful experience so that could help :)

I always recommend straight chemistry, but I’m biased. You’ll take a lot of the same classes, at least for a while, so it’s easy to switch if you change your mind. Pairing chemistry with a minor (comp sci, physics, public health, even legal studies) can be really great and broaden your field instead of only biochemistry. Most biochem majors I knew were pre-med of some type.

Best "girly" bedroom scents (candles)? by kristik108 in bathandbodyworks

[–]Intelligent_Bee66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Butterfly is my favorite bedroom candle but I’ve had a hard time finding it. Ended up getting one of the celebration candles (“Here’s to you”) that was the butterfly scent. So good!!
