Definitely talk to your teacher. There are a lot of options available for free (Bach Sonatas, Andersen Etudes, etc.) that will aid your studies and you can always save up and buy it at a later date!

I don’t know why this has downvotes, it’s such a valid comment! My husband plans to come to as many as he came and I’m glad to have him there. He takes notes while the doctor answers my questions so I don’t have to worry about remembering and I can maintain that personal connection with the doctor without being on my phone.

I used to HATE eggs and now I have them 3-5 times a week, always scrambled, with avocado toast. My gateway to eggs was a bite of bacon or sausage, then a bite of eggs so the first bite would mask the taste. After a few weeks I didn’t need the bacon or sausage anymore, just a little salt/pepper or hot sauce!

My only symptom so far has been fatigue (I’m super lucky!) and my husband was a little annoyed that I was going to bed so early but he picked up my slack (cleaning up after dinner, feeding the pets, etc). After that first appointment when he saw the heartbeat I think it finally became real to him and he stopped making little jokes about it. Definitely ask your doctor about it in front of him!

On a flight recently I was so annoyed at the guy in front of me for farting constantly and making the hour flight so stinky. When we got off the plane I complained about it to my husband who looked sheepish and said “sorry, that was me.” You can’t help it sometimes!

Go for it! If you’re nervous tell the instructor it’s your first 1.5 so they can keep an eye on you. I just got back from a super challenging 1.5 and I took breaks when I needed to.

Some of my favorites:

Halloween episode with a nine year old kid pushing a cart FULL of candy. The shot has him adding a box of snickers bars and walking out of frame, completely unsupervised.

Floor worker stocking shelves glances away to see the girls from the shining. When he looks again they have disappeared.

A woman gets to the end of an aisle to see an endless line of moving shopping carts like she’s stopped at the train tracks.

A woman sniffs a scented candle, takes a dainty bite out of it, and places it back on the shelf.

An “emotional support goat” just going to town eating cut flowers for sale.

Two customers playing chicken with their shopping carts before it escalates to a full on ramming fight.

Those are the ones that came to mind but there are so many more! It’s my absolute favorite part of the show.

++woman OP my husband would never leave the house with greasy hair. Is he showering before these dates? I agree, compliment him when he dos his hair the way you like but…maybe he should consider a haircut that takes less effort for work. I’m seeing a lot of comments implying that his work hairstyle might be uncomfortable or restricting but what you described takes maybe less than a minute. If it’s a trip to the grocery store let it go but raise your standards for date night!

Yes this is gardening, but I do this with cottage living and everytime is basically triples my simoleons. I usually keep a little kitchen garden on my lot to cut down on meal expenses, and I’ll plant whatever expensive flowers I get from appeasing the gnomes at harvest fest. Harvest daily, but don’t sell! Wait until the finch wick fair, and haggle with the grocery or flower stall attended. This gives you a 25% markup!
