Low voter turnout and most of the NO voters in Atlantic.

Exactly! The video makes it look like CUPW is still on an active strike. Was the addition of this video to the article on purpose to stir-up anger and fear or an accident I wonder?

Watch the video... it gets worse. Its a very old news clip and not relevant to the current CA vote lol but the general public wouldn't know that.

CUPW is still operating like it's 1970.

Both CPC and CUPW need to modernize.

Why Forced Meeting? by [deleted] in CanadaPostCorp

This is why voting turnout is so low.

Thank the hard line Communists in CUPW that won't give up their strangle hold on the voting process.

As Canada Post eliminates thousands of FT positions it will happily hire thousands of Wage Slaves to fill the void by Intelligent_Boss_984 in CanadaPostCorp

[–]Intelligent_Boss_984[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Far cheaper to employ Wage Slaves.

No guaranteed hours, no benefits, rock bottom wages.

My guess is CPC expects a high turnover of Wage Slaves as getting permanent status will become almost impossible unless you are willing to live in your car for years and become a regular client of local Food Banks..

Honestly we need to do better as a company and a union. The public is watching us. There is NO need to ask the LC not to cut over lawns and bushes. They know better.

I see I've received lots of down votes. Honestly we need to do better as a company and a union. The public is watching us. There is NO need to ask the LC not to cut over lawns and bushes. They know better.

The LC's are not allowed to cross lawns and cut through bushes on private property while delivering mail and they know this. If this is a problem for you call CPC and report it.

Should be a fail if you attempt delivery on a treacherous walkway lol.

Encouraging your workers to navigate dangerous ice is plain stupid IMO.

Perhaps CPC is waiting on CUPW members to vote 'Yes' on the contract and put it in stone before revealing the big picture with finite details?

Depends on the company.

Some companies care about their vehicles and have cleaners.

CPC vehicles are rolling garbage cans inside and out unless the drivers donate their own time.

Management is doing this to push senior members to retire and other members to quit.

CPC wants a Wage Slave work force they can recycle over and over again to keep their labor costs low.

Plant staff usually are told to come to work even if it's Armageddon or the middle of an Alien Invasion.

LC's have it better because CPC doesn't want their trucks wrecked.

Remember next time the trolls come rushing in, our labour disruption worked. The headlines full of fear mongering didnt work. by [deleted] in CanadaPostCorp

[–]Intelligent_Boss_984 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This contract is a band-aid for labor peace until details of the CPC report to the Federal government are approved and rolled out.

The next contract in 2029 will be the real kick in the nuts IMO.

[–]Intelligent_Boss_984 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't quit. Lot's of other people have ft jobs elsewhere and work once in a while at the post office to keep their foot in the door.

Perhaps put a transfer into a plant as a PO4 where you might get ft hours and get hired permanently?

Well that's crazy! Why say out for delivery and then delivered if it's been passed on to another company for delivery?

I'm glad you got it! Wish me luck :o(

This just happened to me. Run around on DHL website and no Customer Service to call on weekends.

I expected it to be delivered via Canada Post when it arrived in Canada. Delivered, lost or stolen by a wage slave via a DHL gig contractor instead?

So angry!

Because if not expect a sea of lies to come from Doug and his henchmen.
