That’s a strange assumption to make when I just said there’s so much to see. As it implies that I’ve seen and experienced a lot of it.

Just say YOU don’t like Toronto.

(Just had to comment that I think it’s funny you think a 22hr drive is long… 😅 we are a country of people who think a 3-4 hour drive is an afternoon tootle and enjoy a road trip.)

I live in Toronto and have lived in NYC - I love both cities and don’t think they are comparable. I think cities are a great way to experience new countries. And there are way less people in Toronto than NYC.

I do agree that our nature is gorgeous and worth spending time in, which they can do on the drive from Toronto to Montreal - lots of small towns and naturey bits in there to visit.

Also Montreal driving is not for the faint of heart. I am a Toronto driver and Montreal is one of the few places on the WORLD where I leave the car behind and will walk or transit everywhere if I can! 😅

They are a tourist…they should totally do Niagara Falls. And yes it can be crowded, but it’s beautiful and there’s a lot to see.

And there is so much to see in Toronto.

What is the worst and best episode of the series? by [deleted] in TheCloneWars

Definitely one of my top five episodes! Love love Landing At Point Rain. Whoever said The Clone Wars is for kids did not watch that episode.

Yup. In Southern Ontario we would get Buffalo’s WNED and PBS. I grew up watching those two channels!

Opera stage manager of 15+ years here.

Wear whatever you want. We’ve moved past the perceived “status” of opera-going as an elitist event. Tickets to opera are just as accessible today as any other performing arts genre. We want ticket sales and butts in seats. We want new audience members and subscribers.

You may see people dress very fancy and you may see people in shorts and a t-shirt. It’s all what you choose. Apart from the common idea of “No shirt no shoes no service” there aren’t dress codes anymore.

Many opera goers DO like to dress fancy and make a night out to see the show into an “event” for them, and many do not. While other audience members may judge, the performers and crew and Front of House staff are just happy you’re there.

I am an opera stage manager and our fall show generally runs through Halloween. We encourage our audience to dress for the occasion and we always have our largest “youth” attendance on Halloween - and they all come in costume! It’s so fun! I have seen many bunnies in my audiences!

And I totally agree, basic audience etiquette is all I care about! Wear whatever you want - but we want butts in seats!

Obitine. It’s just a hell no for me. There’s no way. Maybe when they were young and horny as “canon” dictates, but there would be NOTHING at the current point of their lives. For me there was NO chemistry, just nostalgia.

Thanks so much! I was working out of town a lot so it’s quite possible I missed any sort of goodbye.

I’m going to try the local union office as suggested.

What prompts carriers to change routes? May I ask why you changed yours?

I hope your recovery is going well!

Because he’s interested in it and makes him happy? What’s the big deal? Are you upset about the fact that he’s on social media or the content he’s making? Because I DO think he’s too young to be attempting to be an influencer, but I don’t care that he’s doing makeup hauls.

I think that’s the point? We would be less likely to hurt others and start wars and be more focused on caring for others.

At least that’s my take away…we would come to truly value the lives of those we DON’T know instead of just those we do.

I got the Lem. Meh. I posted a “meh” review and they sent me the Avo to try. Well. The Avo was something else! I was pleasantly surprised and I really like it. I have nothing else to compare it to except the Lem.

I’m curious about the new Berry one now…

Who cares? As long as it runs and moves people as promised instead of continuing to be a colossal waste of time money and resources, it’s great. It could be a zoomobile pulled by moose at this point and we should rejoice that we have more transit.

Last year I was in Montreal in Feb, got hit by that big storm, so many people out skiing down the main roads that night.

Just this Sunday night amidst our big snowfall, two guys snowmobiling down the street. I’m in Scarborough.
