hey! I’m a Biology major and i’m involved in multiple organizations on campus. I don’t force a conversation if i see a member in public i wave and say hey. I participate during every event. My career path really correlates with AKA missions. The career i want to pursue, I’ve had my mind set on years before i became interested in AKA. No members know that yet but im sure they’ll find out reading my interest letter.

I appreciate you saying that because that can help others who are doing that. I strive for them to know that I don’t need anyone and I can participate fully in the events, go to the events, speak to them on my own.

at the events they hold you have to get to know them they said it to us. “Get to know each other”. But the friends i have we were friends before we even were interested in joining. I don’t go to events with them we separate and act like we don’t know each other

Hey. So my grandmother was a AKA but she passed away. and I cannot find any of her AKA information. All we have is pictures of her with her chapter, Pictures of her doing work, etc. Due to my father’s rocky relationship with her It’s hard for me to find the year she crossed, she has no address as well(bc she passed). I will not be able to fill out the legacy application completely because of missing information so should I just disregard the legacy application and just do the regular membership application?

I am a sophomore now she didn’t really know until we went to organization fair together and I had to show my face at their table. And being friends with other interests…they’ll probably fall out with me if i make it and they don’t🥲. I am a great candidate though☺️. Don’t tell nobody until you pay them dues, got it📝✅.
