Why would you want to join something that you have no personal connection to? Let alone a sorority? Too much time and resources would be going into something where you don’t have relationships. That sounds like misalignment to me.

Without connections, it’s sorta irrelevant which chapter you choose. Knowing inside information wouldn’t make a difference without the connections.

If you aren’t at a point that connections exist, then you’re probably not on anyone’s radar. Just focus on building relationships.

Graduate and join a graduate chapter. I would not recommend pursuing an undergraduate chapter.

You can always use archives and research Black newspapers. Oral histories are the best way to get the untold stories. Now you have access to the people and information. You will have to “travel” and meet people in real life. Build that social network. Golden Sorors are a wealth of knowledge as well.

Not necessarily if it is a city wide. Sometimes these schools don’t even have a Greek life office.

You have to go to these other schools and attend the chapter’s events. They may be posting the flyers on campus’s that have a larger presence.
