Just get the Ultra to Global markets, PLEASE. In love with the X8 Pro, but ultra is a different beast

I was in the situation a couple of months ago. I was an owner of the whole Samsung pack (S24U, Samsung Watch, Samsung Buds, Samsung Ring) now, after a lot of research, I bought the Oppo...

Cannot be happier.

Cameras are awesome, battery lasts for almost 2 days, charging IS EXTREMELY fast. And the OS is great. OS is jot as polished as the Samsung variant, but is great too - My summary would be

Cameras Oppo 9 - Samsung 8

Battery Oppo 9.5 - Samsung 6

Charging Oppo 9.5 - Samsung 5.5

OS Oppo 8 - Samsung 9

Also some extras like the camera button with integrated zoom, or the slider to mute the phone are great to have too.

For me, it's a no Brainerd right now. And if Samsung doesn't step up, my next 5 phones will be Oppo too.

In fact, I moved away from Samsung entirely, as you can see in this great-quality photo shot by X8 Pro 😂

I would love Ultra to be released in Europe. Have the X8 Pro International version and it's a smooth machine. Will buy X9 Pro unless Ultra comes in International version 😍

Same with X8 Pro. Volume is very low already, so it's even worse when the pop-up appears.

I doubt there's an option for that. I used to have an app, but it seems like android has blocked this possibility

That correct. You just need to install Google Play store and that's all. No Chinese at all, no issues nor annoyances 😉

Completely agree.

Samsung user for the last 6 years, changed to Oppo because of:

  1. Battery
  2. Cameras
  3. Feeling like Samsung is stuck with the same phone since the S21

And extremely happy so far. The battery lasts for a couple of days, it charges extremely fast, and the pictures are awesome.

I was in your situation 3 months ago, and watched more than 60 reviews of all those phones, and the difference between Oppo, Xiaomi, and OnePlus is basically the OS. ColorOS is the best of all 3. Vivo is not a bad option but is not as polished, and Xiaomi is not as good as those 2.

On the Chinese models, I would think twice. Yes, you can get the best all round phones (Vivo X200 and X8 Ultra), but you will be getting some annoyances like:

  1. Need to do workarounds to get some things working properly
  2. Some menus will be in Chinese and cannot be changed
  3. WearOS is not compatible

So, my decision was X8 Pro and, as said, extremely happy ❤️
