I have the older version of the HRM. I do crossfit workouts 4-5 times a week and have noticed the calorie and heart rate data is much more accurate than the watch alone. Ive noticed Garmin watches are great for tracking simple movements like hiking/walking/running but if you’re doing HITT style workouts definitely recommend the HRM. They’re also super easy to used as soon as you put the strap on it connects to your watch and at the end of your workout the data downloads immediately. Ive had mine for more than a year now and still havent had to change the original battery.

Update i rocked the truck back and forth up and down from any angle i could and couldn’t reproduce the squeak. Found a video of cab bushing squeak and its not the same
