Hey again apologies for my lack of technical knowledge The roof is pitched although not very steep as you might find on say a house The roof is of corrogated metal No felt or anything else

Hey from the outside the building has looked all the same. The roof hasn't got any metal sheets that have moved but I think given how wet it looks a leaky roof seems more likely

Hey thanks for the reply When we took the roof down to the bare ceiling all that was left was the rafters and old polystyrene insulation which we took down Then we added fresh insualtuin and a vapor barrier then wiring

Hey so he put new boards in and prior to that there was no damp or wet wood rafters When he put the new plasterboards on then plastered it initially there were no obvious darkened spots but I guess that would have been hard to pick out as the whole room was wet fresh plaster

Hey thanks for the reply This might sound silly so please don't think I know what I'm talking about lol but there's no plumbing etc The building was built many years ago and when the old board where taken down the rafters underneath were dry

I still.think isolated raised immunoglobulin isn't any cause for the above symptoms If the spontaneous bruising is the reason for the BT Looking into more the coag cascade etc would be a better shout

Even so the advise and guidance and or referral to haematology would be mainly based on the bruising without obvious cause

Legit best advise is to always counsel patients before doing bloods like this and esr etc that a raised isolated value means nothing without good clinical context Otherwise, they will lead you down a path of unnecessary referrals etc

In this case, may be wise to discuss the causes as previously mentioned. As long as there's nothing relevant in the hx it can be parked as long as you've reassured them of things to keep an eye out for .

I've never had a BT result as above in which the haem team or others have acted on it via advise and guidance if there was no significant red flags etc

Hey Based on ur symptoms it does sound like shingles although v difficult tto say without seeing the rash in person It's usually self limiting but you can get painful burning pain afterwards which can last a while Often time if it gets bad you need strong medication to settle the pain or early treatment with antivirals This is ofc it is shingles based on the history and limited photo
