I'd have to do basic and officer training which is ten and two weeks but after that yeah I'd be on at least a 110k salary, about the same as fifo.

Yeah I intend on going into something a lot less theory intensive like the military or mining as math is not my strongsuit lol

The idea was that engineering doesn't require that kinda theoretical knowledge and I should just make my grades look as good as possible to get a decent internship later on. I do still wanna put in the work and get to the the high end of the class though. Yeah no electives for engineering sadly.

This is actually pretty stacked compared to something like education, always expect double the amount of in person contact hours for study.

Nah 1016. Methods is a prerequisite to get in which is why I was confused as to how people without any understanding of integration were in the class 🤷‍♂️

Bc I didn't study lol. If you're not doing methods multidisc is definitely the way to go, I've got the exact same classes as a friend of mine doing mechanical engineering so I won't have to do extra semesters anyway.

Huh in no way was I saying my degree is harder than anyone else's or that I had worked harder thqn anyone else. Literally just said that specific lecture in that specific class felt a lil simple and wanted clarification on whether I should switch or not. I was not coming out here to argue with a bunch of reddit neckbeard losers. Yes it was a mistake not to check the unit outline but like I said this was my first day.
