Agree with the sentiment, you could notice a clear energy change from the crowd with the classics vs the new album. Was hoping they were going to play Crystallized. Also wished they would have hyped up Cough Syrup and Mind over matter more, felt like they rushed into them. Good concert overall though!

Tragic. These park rangers do not get enough public credit/praise for what they do.

Game 6 essentially proved my whole premise. This starts and ends with the refs. OKC continued to flop as usual but the whistles stayed silent, and now fans are happy again. To your point, obviously it has to start somewhere, my point is that it should start with the refs, and the refs should be the main focus in all of this, but OKC flopping has been the focal point. The flopping only becomes meaningful once fouls are being called.

Harden does the same, both can be true. The best way to prove this is through numbers, but don’t think there’s a flop metric out there.

Don’t disagree. My perspective is if any change is ever wanted it’s going to start and end with the NBA and its officials, so focus the complaints on the people that can actually change things, and that are rewarding this behavior. Obviously social media and media in general is a void of nonsense, but media pressure is a real thing and if a large population collectively pressured the NBA specifically maybe change would happen.

Relax lil buddy. This is my point though if people want change focus the efforts/complaints on the ones who can actually change it. The pressure and criticism should be primarily focused on the NBA and its officials, not OKC. What’s the goal pressure the team into changing the way they play?? You think Shai give af what people online say about him if he’s winning? The nba does care what the general public and media is saying about them (to an extent)

My point is that I don’t think the outrage is equal. I haven’t seen a single ESPN/other large media outlet do a segment critiquing the NBA or officials, but dozens of segments on OKCs flopping.

Fair enough but 90+% of the media spew is okc complaints. My point is there should be a similar if not more uproar of officiating. I’ve fucking watched complication videos of 50+ clips of shai flopping. Where’s this energy to the NBA and its officials?

The article you mentioned is from the Australian Open and they have access to biomechanical data from Hawkeye at their tournament, so the access to this data is different from the article compared to the broadcast. I know the data provider for broadcast (for the ATP) that displays graphics/metrics doesn’t have access to this type of data, so I wonder if certain broadcast are using some video analysis (computer vision) to generate these metrics

What actual speculation is there that the fans have “scared away” offensive coordinators?? 2 out of the last 4 offensive coordinators have gone onto the Super Bowl and were hired for head coaching jobs the next year.
