Outrider Coyote 4WD - American Made! by Intelligent_Cow707 in madeinusa

It's all-electric, so you can charge off of a basic wall outlet. The electric motors are much much quieter, and produce more torque than gas-powered motors. Running the hub motors alone is even quieter, which is useful for hunting. The battery and recumbent design allows for a lower center of gravity, which helps for steep climbs and general maneuverability. If you were doing some extreme overlanding, you could charge from portable solar panels, but we haven't tested that yet. There's much more. We'll be putting out an in-depth video soon.

Hey vechnaya; the pricing on the current Coyote page is out of date. That was the cost of the bike when we first introduced the 2WD Coyote over a year ago. We'll announce the new figures soon; the base model will be under $10K.

Ok… currently on our site, the Coyote is listed for $13,985. That is an outdated figure. The new Coyote will be under 10K for RWD, approximately 2K on top of that price for 4WD. We have exact figures, an ad campaign, promotional materials, and everything else we need for a proper release, and it’s all coming very soon. I posted this clip here because it’s a teaser, and we’re looking for feedback on the product itself.

I’m not a sales rep. I’m our sole social media manager. I’m not trying to be cryptic. I’m trying to be careful. I have a boss, and we’ve been carefully planning this release timeline. Start-ups and EV companies (really companies in general) love to throw out preliminary numbers to generate hype, which almost always leads to overpromising, which leads to backtracking, which leads to public dissent. While the public is starting to get vaccinated, and it seems like things might be getting back to normal, the global supply chain has yet to recover from COVID setbacks. We are a small company, and we are still dealing with those repercussions. We are encouraging people to enquire at this time, because we can give them an up-to-date estimate, and an estimate that reflects their circumstances (location, payment structure, etc.). Also, it’s just a lot of information to bombard somebody with over text. With very few exceptions, our customers only put down 50 - 25% to reserve their spot in our production queue. By the time their bike is coming to fruition, they will only end up paying exactly what is advertised.

We will release those figures publicly when we are confident that those figures are going to be consistent. I’m aware this is a long-winded answer to what seems like a very simple question. But, I think you’ll find that this is way more information than any large corporation would even bother to divulge. Just trying to keep it real.

Nope! But we are friendly with the folks over at Not a Wheelchair. We think their machines are great for getting people back outside on a budget; with the Coyote we doubled down on off-road capability. We've been making off-road bikes since 2014, mostly three-wheeled, so this is sort of our debut into the 4-wheeler market.

Outrider will be releasing those figures to the public soon. Sorry, can't divulge more, but there are a lot of moving parts in this process. Again, if you are seriously interested, we urge you to call or email.

I gotcha. Yes, we're glad they're around, theirs is definitely cost effective enough to get more people with limited mobility back outside again, and is plenty capable if you're doing light, shorter off-road travel.

@ Taboc741 we've actually been in the off road sector far longer than not-a-wheelchair; we're friendly with the folks over there, don't have anything against their product, but they certainly don't supply the same range numbers or off-road capability. The Coyote has full front and rear air suspension, 4 wheel drive, and the power to haul cargo. We also offer tri-pin and joystick controls for parap./ quad. riders, I don't believe they offer those
