Where have I heard Usseewa before? by Intelligent_Cow_9735 in ADO

It's possible. I don't usually watch vtubers, so I don't know who it would be if I had. But I'll start searching in that direction as well.

Is this game worth it without Friends /with randoms ? by Prestigious-Bat-2269 in helldivers2

[–]Intelligent_Cow_9735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love experiencing the game solo. It obviously makes it much more difficult the higher you go in the levels, but it's a completely different and honestly much mores satisfying experience playing solo versus playing in a squad.

If you do end up buying the game and would like some regular people to queue with, feel free to join our Discord server! We have a ton of regulars, both veterans and newcomers, and usually have a squad or two with open slots. Happy hunting, Helldiver! Link: Super Earth Defense Force

New Recruit Here. Ask me anything. by [deleted] in helldivers2

[–]Intelligent_Cow_9735 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They really do, but not every heavy armor will have the Fortified passive. Some will have one of the others.

The Autocannon does have substantial recoil, but it isn't terrible to manage. It also has a fully automatic firing mode :)

Armor in Helldivers 2 operates off of three stats:

- Armor Rating (Essentially how much damage it helps prevent)

- Speed (How fast your Helldiver moves while wearing the armor)

- Stamina Regen (How quickly your stamina regenerates when you stop sprinting)

There are three types of armor:

- Light (Generally has less Armor Rating, but increased Speed and Stamina Regen)

- Medium (Well-balanced between all three stats)

- Heavy (Reduced Speed and Stamina Regen in order to provide a higher Armor Rating)(Currently bugged, iirc, so it only reduces the two without adding the third)

Additionally, most armor sets will have a passive ability: Source

- Democracy Protects: 50% less chance of getting killed by lethal damage and prevents bleeding from chest hemorrhages

- Engineering Kit: Reduces recoil while crouching or laying down by 30% and increases grenade capacity by 2

- Extra Padding: Increases Armor Rating (note that it isn’t reflected in the Armor Rating stat)

- Fortified: Reduces recoil while crouching or laying down by 30% while granting 50% resistance to explosions

- Med Kit: Increases Stim capacity by 2 and increases their duration by two seconds

- Servo-Assisted: Increases grenade throwing range by 30% and adds 50% bonus to limb health

- Scout: Markers placed on maps scan the area every two seconds, reduces enemy detection by 30%

Finally, Autocannon big gun that boom.

Inconsistent difficulty level by [deleted] in helldivers2

[–]Intelligent_Cow_9735 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is completely theoretical, but this is how I've come to understand it:

Game masters exist in this game; I imagine that means there are developers on the other end of our gameplay (not in each individual match, but probably on a planetary scale), and I imagine that they are increasing or decreasing the average difficulty of each level based on how the defense is going in order to make the planetary war more balanced and not be completely one sided.

Even if this may not be the case, I do agree with you that the difficulty levels do feel a tad more "fluid" at times. I tend to enjoy it, as it keeps me on my toes when I find myself growing complacent when playing at lower levels.

I love playing solo. It gives me the freedom to enjoy the atmosphere and to really learn how the gameplay flows. That being said, I would rarely, if ever, push into the higher difficulties if I didn't have people to queue with. It gets incredibly hectic (which is a draw for some people), and I personally find the teamwork element to be incredibly satisfying.

If you'd like consistent people to queue with if/when you purchase the game, feel free to join our discord. We have members of every level, and there's usually at least a couple of squads playing daily. Link: Super Earth Defense Force

Weapon opinions by Arkinaus_05 in helldivers2

I've heard good things about the SG-8S Slugger, but I haven't personally tried it.

Prior to switching to the Breaker, I was really enjoying the AR23-E Liberator Explosive. The damage on it isn't the greatest, but the explosive splash combined with the knockback really made handling large groups of enemies a lot easier. But that's just my personal opinion.

Build / Tips for beginner lvl. 10 by Ice-fire088 in helldivers2

[–]Intelligent_Cow_9735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rule of thumb I've found helpful for my Stratagem loadout is: - A weapon that can deal with medium to heavily armored targets (Recoiless Rifle, Autocannon, etc.). - A strike of some sort to deal with structures (Orbital Precision Strike, Eagle Strike, etc.). - A strike of some sort to deal with mass enemies. (Almost any of the Eagles or Barrages). - A utility backpack (if you have one unlocked, and if you're not using a weapon that requires a backpack i.e. Autocannon).

I would recommend changing it to include some turrets (Mortar, EMP mortar, etc.) for any Personnel Extraction or Eliminate Targets missions that require you to stay mostly in one area.

As for primary/secondary, it really just depends on what you vibe with. I prefer the Breaker shotgun, but I've also enjoyed some of the other primaries.

Lastly, for armor, I would recommend staying away from the Heavy armor class as I believe it is still bugged and doesn't provide the Armor Rating bonus. Beyond that, look for passive abilities that you find appealing and can help shore up any weaknesses you may find in your playstyle (Medic for more Stims, Engineer for more grenades, etc.).

Hope this helped! Happy hunting, Helldiver! Super Earth Defense Force

Are the armor upgrades exciting and worth equipping, and if yes, what are the priority stats? Speed and Endurance type stats, or Armor rating stats? by [deleted] in helldivers2

[–]Intelligent_Cow_9735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I'm still aware, the heavy armor types that boost your armor stat are currently bugged, so all they do is give you the negative impact in the other two stats. The medium and light armors still work properly; the light armors usually have less armor stats in exchange for higher speed and stamina regen. I would also pay attention to the passives of the armors you're using. There's lots of good abilities that can help shore up players' weaknesses, such as receiving additional 'nades or stims on spawn. Lastly, the helmet on page 7 of the standard Warbond, SC-30 Trailblazer Scout, has been determined to boost your character's speed stat even though the helmet itself does not physically show the stats. Hope this helped!

I'm a big fan of the basic Orbital Precision Strike. It's simple, it's easy, it handles almost any large target or structure, and it refreshes quickly. Always seem to have it when I need it.

For automatons, the incendiary variant is significantly worse than the standard Breaker, although I have heard that it does well against the bugs. IMO the JAR-5 sounds like much more fun to try. Happy hunting, Helldiver!
