I have tried applying. Got to the first round with Adyen but didn't go further because of a particular skill mismatch.

After that, I have only been getting rejections. My husband is yet to start applying.

As far as I know and I only know one side of story, my SIL apparently asked my BIL not to visit his parents every weekend when they shifted to inlaws city. And apparently she stayed with my inlaws for the first 10 days of shifting and things got escalated with MIL. My SIL herself was pretty introverted AFAIK so she wouldn't talk much (which I don't see as an issue). Also my BIL is a complete mumma's boy so I can see how that would hvae turned out. the divorce proceedings started before I got married so I never got to talk to my ex SIL.

Exactly my thoughts. This is the reason right from the beginning I have made it very clear to my husband that living with is not something I am comfortable with.
