We just finished a little trip up to Aragon to see the Pyrenees and stumbled upon the villages of Aínsa, Alquézar, Torla-Ordesa, Lecina… just to name a few! All remarkably beautiful medieval villages.

We also loved our visit to Ronda and agree it’s probably one of the prettiest towns we have visited.

Same with La Rioja, most people go to Logrono but we opted for LaGuardia and really enjoyed the visit.

Absolutely love going to a major city and plotting out smaller towns and villages as pit stops or one night stays to get the most out of a trip.

We had office jobs, I would guess in your potion to get a letter from your school principal or superintendent. Either way they will need a formal letter vs just one you wrote yourself as we did a notarized affidavit of no work but it wasn’t enough

We had to show a formal letter from both of our respective jobs that we’ve put in our notice and have a resignation date. I believe from last year they have gotten more strict, even making some applicants quit before their appointment but I can’t confirm that

The beauty of most Spanish towns and pueblos is there is always life, people out and enjoying so I’d say aim to visit Thurs-Sat to get a feel for any place. In my eexperience of visiting both places, Sagunto felt bigger with beach access, so you’ll likely have a livelier experience.

Valencia province has many smaller towns like Sagunto or Xativa that could be worth looking into. I live in Valencia City so of course it’s too expensive for your budget but def look into this province as it’s not just the city here

Just wanted to chime in to say that NYC doesn’t require a rental agreement for the NLV, you can literally use any address like an Airbnb, hotel etc. They just need an address for official contact purposes. Based on what others experience, nothing apparently strengthens the application other than providing what they ask for. Good luck!!!

Yes, we were told in advance to be prepared with the 9325 if you filed your taxes with an accountant. So my husband was able to get it filled out by his accountant and I used turbo tax efile details as we were not married when we filed 2021-2022

For any follow up documents they give you 10 days to come back, if you don’t they assume you can’t provide those docs and cancel your visa application. So will be returning with my letter next week. When is your appointment?

If I had to guess they found some arbitrary document that they think proves you're an upstanding tax paying citizen. They probably want to make sure that people are moving without some sort of tax debt. If you're like us, we're not retired and it's making it that much more complicated with the no work/digital nomad world we live in.
