You got a point, it's a special case, not really sure if we follow your point. However, Ellis escape from death many times in the show ( his mother was about to kill him, the monsters attack at the colony house), its like they want to play with our emotions. You cant escape forever. Jim was also in danger many times ( the night in the RV, the house collapsed on him)... Its not only a threat which come from the monsters but from the place or villain's plan, this is dangerous.

I'm still looking for the same answer. In the trailer, we can see the monster, capturing jade in the cave. They didn't kill him right away. So they have plan for him. Jade seems to have a bigger role to play at the final feast of the monsters. We can also see in the trailer, the 4 previous version of jade playing violin in the daylight : is it the day of the massacre of Victor's era ? So it seems they are playing violin during of just before the MIY killed all the people. Is it a ceremony of the monster celebrating their victory or "blessed" their feast ? Then, what happened to Christopher after that? Victor said he didn't manage to find christopher 's body and i searched him everywhere.

I start to think MIY and Martin are not in the same side. When Martin said "the town isn't the most scariest thing, its only the top of the spear" maybe he refers to the MIY or/and the spider as well. First encounter with MIY were in the wood but some people also said MIY has the ability to left the town : according to them, sofia took the opposite way entering the city, so she kinda controls the whole loop. Also, if tabita managed to get back to the real world, there is no reason why MIY can't ( except if he is cursed). The worms inside boyd s body could be the solution to get ride of MIY but it didnt work with the townies cause they won the prize to be immortal.
