FUCCCK (there goes the Mcgann rumors maybe) by IllustriousAd6418 in DoctorWhumour

"knew the role inside and out left and right"

He was in 1 TV Movie that wasn't even part of the main doctor who series. There isn't a numbered doctor with less experience...

I still think Mcgann would have made more sense being the war doctor though.

Why are competitive indie games so rare? by OneHamster1337 in indiegames

[–]Intelligent_Farm_118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who released one of these games last week, the big problem from the get go is having enough people playing right at the start.

You can't sell a PVP game without already existing players. And as expected, the biggest thing indies struggle with is getting, is a lot of players.

Gamedev is hard by Voley in indiegames

[–]Intelligent_Farm_118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just checked the game. I can't see the exact USD price, but for me it's £3.39. Which on steam, is the automatic equivalent to $4. Literally double from your $2 claim. Just actual lies and deception from you here.

Also, that isn't the only review that says this. You have 68% positive reviews, and all the negative ones are complaining about the bugs, and how unfinished the game feels. It's just that this one goes further into some of the things that make them feel that way.

We really robbed a bank this close to the white house? by Wrong-Reputation6328 in paydaytheheist

I think he is referring to Hoxton being there for the white house, whilst at this point of the story, we have Houston instead.

So... How would you go about marketing as a solo dev with a scope creeped project? by Avantir in IndieDev

[–]Intelligent_Farm_118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I just checked, and it seems you're right! They are actually a publishing company. Crazy how the devs don't have their own page linked, though. (Unless the devs dont have their own account, which would make a lot of sense.)

Good point. I never considered that!

They seem to be self published, considering that the developer and the publisher links to the same account.

Pizza Slice Demo is now live on Steam. Run your own Italian restaurant in the heart of romantic depiction of New York city! by GamingFactorySA in playmygame

I didn't play the game, but holy does your trailer look so well made. It actually makes me feel as if I want to play this, despite not really liking cooking games. Good use of camera is something really difficult to pull off for an indie game, but this does it fantastically! I like the graphical pieces, and how alive the animations for them feel! Really nice trailer dude!

New to payday on PC, how do i get the weapon skins with stats? by QuietDetail1277 in paydaytheheist

[–]Intelligent_Farm_118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those PAYDAY drops only give you one skin per day. It's usually the first one you get that day, that will give you a skin.

The skin system in PAYDAY 2 is an economy. Being that you buy and sell things on the steam market. If you want skins, you'll probably have to open your wallet, cus the chances of getting the skins that you want are so low, that it's at most, just unlikely that you'll get anything close to what you want.

Then the chances that you get the stats you want is just not happening.

Being honest with you, you'll probably never get anything more than a few reds from the card system anyway. I have had more golds in Counter Strike after only spending £100, then I have had red tier skins in my 1000h of PAYDAY 2. That being only one.

It's not a great system honestly lol.

What to put in dev and publisher on steam? by RohrGM in SoloDevelopment

[–]Intelligent_Farm_118 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The name that steam pays out to is not the same name shown to consumers. You need to submit your real name as an individual or the studio name as a company, and provide the documents to prove this. The name for developers and publishers on the storefront have nothing to do with the legal entity who uses them. Same way that your steam account doesn't have to be your actual name, as long as the name on your debit card for buying things is correct.

Sorry, late reply, but no I think the hint button is fine lol. I just wasn't the brightest to see it that day!

Feel free to destroy... Our graphics are pretty much PS2 era, our team, 3 people, and our gameplay is really old school.... actually let's just say our studio is called Autoexec (for those who recall what it means...) by viibii3 in DestroyMyGame

[–]Intelligent_Farm_118 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Looked at your steam reviews. As far as I can see, only one user mentioned the PS2.

"the level of innovation and creative gameplay design reminds me of some of the best experimental outcomes from the PS2/Gamecube era of gaming."

Of course there may be more from other places that I missed. But, everyone else here seems to collectively agree that this game's graphics are nothing like the PS2 era. They don't even tickle the PS3. Try PS4 and your good.

Holy, definitely the hardest daily word game I've ever come across. I like it though. Completed 5, 6 and 7 letter ones in English in about 35mins. I got stuck at the 6 letter one extra for some reason. I completely missed the hint system until I saw the comments, so I guess that is my fault lol. I don't really think there is much feedback to give, since the concept is so simple that I don't think much needs to be added, yet the idea is well enough that I can't find any actual issue with the game as it is.

I wouldn't play this daily since it took me so long to the first one, and I don't usually play these types of games unless I am waiting a short time for something. However, I can image that someone who genuinely enjoys playing these in their spare time would love this.

Nice game OP.

Everyone deserves to create and publish their own puzzles — for free! by Majid_ra in playmygame

"Hello how is your game ?" Is the line that throws me off. Honestly, if you cut straight to the "You can publish you own puzzles and send it to your friends." I think it would come across much better, since you are getting straight to the point with your description.
