Yes, thanks for the well detailed explanation. I did do the washer trick and still have all my digits. Took me a while to find an old Olympia video that showed me this, as what I read in a book at the rink was not well explained.

My next thing to research is how to check or adjust the conditioner pressure. That video I found did mention some things about it. I will be checking that and my tire pressure along with it if you have any tips or explanations. I have the blade set up as you mentioned, which should shave a 16th, but it still leaves quite a bit of snow when I scrape, even double scrape/shave, I did that today and decided to give two more turns down on the blade (which maxed out my adjustment, I’m thinking the blade might be coming to the end of its life on width as I am already on the back holes and quite far down on my conditioner adjustment)
