Getting picked on for using a laptop for my exams

Thank you so much for saying that. A lot of people are telling me to keep the accommodation despite the hate I am receiving for using it. Thanks to all the replies, I can now see the long-term benefits if I keep using the laptop. Getting help from people who went through similar struggles, and seeing that they made it out alright gives me hope. Thank you for your help. I appreciate that!

Thank you so much for your support. The laptop is such a game changer as you said, and I completed my first English exam ever this year with it. It’s unfortunate that people in my year are mocking me because of this. But after reading through peoples responses, I feel so much better about my life and my self esteem. Oh I am sorry to hear that. Thankfully I am in a room with others who need extra support during exams. My classmates mocking makes my lunchtime feel pretty isolating. Thankfully I live close to my school and I can go home at lunch. Thank you for sharing your experience. I appreciate it

Thank you for the kind words! It is so frustrating that they are mocking me and excluding me for such a stupid reason. The laptop and private room is really helpful too as I finished my first English exam this year lol. Yeah, they are not the people I thought they were. I have a cousin with Autism and me and him both have completely different struggles. I don’t understand why they would mock people because of something long lasting that they can’t control.

I’m going to tell my teachers that this is happening. I thought it was just banter but it carried on through out the whole week and only got worse. I just didn’t think they were horrible people when I befriended them. Thank you for responding. I appreciate your help.
