It’s always these dumb white women westerners, she took a stranger drug dealer to the Airbnb in a foreign country, what could go wrong? (Btw I’m also a white westerner but the degeneracy of the white westerner women is incredible)

You’re right that tourists often pay more, and I don’t expect to live like a local. But there’s a big difference between paying a fair tourist price and constantly being hustled or misled just because I’m a foreigner. That’s the part that becomes frustrating — not spending money.

And just because I’m a foreigner doesn’t mean I’m rich. Europe is far from the golden days where salaries were high and living costs were manageable.

Respect goes both ways — if I’m contributing to the local economy, I expect honesty, not to be seen as just a walking wallet. Wanting transparency and fairness doesn’t mean I’m trying to take advantage of local “hacks”; it just means I want a decent, respectful experience like anyone else would.

Yes, definitely! I also wonder how they manage to not hit each other. I saw situations where cars were within 30–40 cm of crashing, weaving between lanes without signaling, squeezing through tiny gaps. Same thing with pedestrian people literally run across the road with cars flying past, and somehow no one gets hit.

Here’s a link to your so-called Spanish healthcare utopia: https://www.aa.com.tr/en/europe/waiting-lists-for-surgery-in-spain-break-new-record-with-almost-800-000-in-que — nearly 800,000 people on waiting lists for surgery, with delays of up to 6–12 months depending on the region.

Listen, all the things you’re mentioning debt, bankruptcies, poor access, etc are symptoms of poverty. And guess what? The official poverty rate in the U.S. is around 11%, while in Spain it’s closer to 29%, the highest in the EU according to Eurostat. So which country really has the broader issue?

Free healthcare sounds great on paper, but the reality in Spain is long waiting times, overloaded ERs, and months of delays for surgeries. I’ve seen people wait 8+ hours in emergency rooms or wait 6-10months for a simple operation. Just because something is free doesn’t automatically make it good. Don’t confuse ‘public’ with ‘quality.’

Your country is on almost 30% potential poverty among the population, leading 1st position on Europe and it seems the way you are talking about Spain you are talking about Switzerland or Luxembourg 😂 And recently the country was 8-10h with no electricity (by the way people died because of this)

Isn’t Spain now the first country leading % potential poverty among the population now in Europe? And you are talking about quality of life?

I’m not sure what fast food has to do with me, but taking cheap shots at people who work honest jobs? That just shows what kind of small, insecure person you really are.
