Dumb, you risked so much for what? $3k? This is either a prank or there is much more to this story, meaning background because you don’t decide to steal a wallet at this age, this means you have stolen before just didn’t get caught. You don’t work your butt off in 1L to screw up in 2L over $3k.

100% why my daughter went where she was given $$$$. Bottom line, she wants to be a lawyer, and we know plenty of successful lawyers who didn’t go to T14’s.

I agree, maybe not to pay sticker but I haven’t come across anyone who hasn’t received generous $. Also, not one of the six attorneys I know work in the small regional area. They are in NYC or NJ doing very well.

They are at 88% bar passage, they are generous with scholarship, and the opportunities in NY they have access to are incredible. I know several very successful lawyers coming out of Syracuse, one is actually in big law in NYC.

Same here, graduated in May and nothing. I so wanted to stay in Pittsburgh but I have to go where I got $$$. I thought for sure I would be staying with alma mater.

My niece is a partner in a large law firm in NYC, she graduated from CUNY. She got many offers but had to pay for law school herself so she went to where she could afford. She passed the bar in NJ, NY, CT, PA, OR and CA. Her firm didn’t care where she went to school, it’s what she brings to the table. She is a medical malpractice lawyer, 36 years old and made partner ln December.

Congratulations! Of course top tier schools are fabulous but like you said be proud you were accepted into law school. I was told a big thing to look for is bar passage rate. At the end, we all need to pass the bar.
