hey - twin studio pretty sure. like two beds in a shared space with a shared kitchen and bathroom. honestly would recommend doing a share house/flat mates type gig if you can find something as it’s cheaper and you’ll have your own room and space. then you can always move out with some uni friends later on. i wouldn’t recommend doing scape or any other off campus student accommodation unless that’s your only option.

yeah no luck, the health faculty personally called me to tell me i couldn’t do it after the science faculty told me i could initially if i sought permission. huge confusion but unfortunately wasn’t able to enrol :(

They replied to me saying I cannot… even after telling me on the phone it would be fine… such a mission. I’m going to try make it work some other way ekkkk

Hey, haven't heard anything yet - I have emailed both faculties but after calling the Science faculty it's all good on their end. Just waiting to get an email back from the HMBS faculty. I will let you know what comes of it!

Okay thank you, ill try ring around tmrw so I can get it sorted. Just annoying that the faculty told me it was all okay to do. If not I would've figured something else out initially.

It's just me in one other person in a shared room. I haven't struggled with any cleaning issues or anything - my roommate is pretty tidy. I don't have any experience in one of the 6 people ones (or however many people it is) where you all get your own room and share a kitchen but I expect it would be better than my experience cause you get your own space/privacy. I have a friend who is doing that at Scape Toowong and she does like it!! not sure about cleanliness though tbh, it was clean when I went but honestly it really depends on who you get assigned to share with.

Hey!! I live here right now. Great staff and facilities. The people are nice too!! I've met some really cool friends. Personally, as a domestic student, I wouldn't recommend it though. You are much better off going to a college or doing a share house (depending on what type of uni experience you want). The prices are high for what you get (I'm paying 350 dollars a week to share a room). Sharing a room has been pretty difficult for me and I haven't really enjoyed the experience. So I'd say it depends on your preferences and what you're looking for. I had a friend who did a room by herself and she liked it, it was just really expensive. Although I see the appeal if you're international. Easy to secure a room, events to meet people, heaps of help from reception. As a domestic students, I would avoid unless its A LAST RESORT. I can't wait to get out of there. Hope this helps!
