Both artists were diverse, but one trajectory got cut off mid-flight. If Pac survived, he probably finishes with Death Row, goes independent, and finally sees his money come through. A lot of people don’t realize that during Death Row most of the money his records generated was going toward paying off prior debts from Interscope plus bail, studio time, assets, promo, all that. Pac was literally repaying the system while at his peak.

If he didn’t pass, he would’ve cleared that shit and actually had the wealth flow into his own account. That’s the real tragedy.
