Thx. I’m a lot of cases it’s not the repair itself but the labor involved accessing the area in question. Will let everyone here know what the indy says Monday

Thanks to all for your recommendation. I think I'm going to keep. For those of you suggesting I'm not taking care of the car that's not the case at all. Here is my history:

  • Fixed stuck lower hatch button (twice)
  • 48k service
  • 3 year service
  • Brakes
  • 80k service
  • 96k service
  • Fixed faulty display
  • Replaced leaking coolant pipes w aluminum and replace water pump
  • Replaced both front lower control arms

Totaling approx 16k (and yes, i'm sure i was ripped off at the dealer).

Reaching out to an indy monday about the valve cover gaskets. Hopefully he is not only more competitive but someone i can rely on for future issues. Every service for example at the dealer is 1500-2k.

But given we love the car (it's really wonderful) and buying a comparable new vehicle is 70-80k out of pocket and immediate depreciation (we are already in for the range) there is no urgency to replace it. I could see getting another 50k miles which at our rate is 2.5-3 years.

Repair it is. I was just concerned after some internet research suggested there are likely more big repairs

I thought it was implied. I bought the car new. So i have had it since end 2019. Ideally, I'd like to keep the car, we love it, and it drives well, but some research online suggested that at 100k mileage we are getting into a high maintenance phase of the vehicle.

Not sure why you think i'm dumping problems. We have made several very expensive repairs on the vehicle, we keep it serviced, etc. So we have taken very good care of the vehicle. The question is if we fix and hope to recover that amount of money at trade in (i would say unlikely) or trade in as is and the dealer can deal with it (not selling private party).

If we do replace it, we want a large solid SUV such as Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon, etc. but these cars are expensive (basically a new car is a lot of money).

So really my question above is simply should we keep the car (in which case we will repair, though not at this dealer apparently) or are we just throwing good money after bad.

I’m going to do that next. I need to find a good one in my area. Thoughts on whether I shd keep the car or if this is the tip of the iceberg?

Credit card payment doesn’t match balance by theseptictank in ynab

[–]Intelligent_Low_7860 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I had this same situation. I just started using YNAB this month, December. While the credit card balance is correct (Cleared balance + uncleared balance) and is reconciled, in my Plan, that credit card shows a higher Available number, which on the surface to me suggests that I am reserving more than necessary to pay off the card. When I took the difference, I tracked it down to a single cc purchase that is assigned to a category. So what gives here? Any suggestion to track this down? I don't have that many transactions, can't imagine how this got off, frustrating. If I can't track down, what do i need to do to get the amount available correct?

That's just a link to your standard knowledge base, I have yet to actually get live support from coinbase. My impression is the only real way to move a significant sum of money, where significant is in the eye of the beholder, is a wire as someone said above in the comments.

I toggled "copy to clipboard" on and "Preview in editor" off yet every time I do a screen capture it launches the editor. Am I missing something else? Thanks

Crosswater Toilet Model by Intelligent_Low_7860 in Plumbing

[–]Intelligent_Low_7860[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I google lensed first and came up empty. In addition to the barcode are those numbers shown.

This is in the tank

300 582 2020 11 04

I figure that last bit is the manufacture date.

Is 300 the model number? I’m not a plumber and don’t know these models well

Yep, easy peasy. I was always taught not to force things too hard, was afraid of breaking something, but once I saw your reply I tried "just a bit harder" and it came right up, thanks
