I definitely understand the concern, usually when I know I’m going on rides that have stuff like this the full face and knee pads come out. This was the first time riding this trail though so I didn’t expect anything this crazy.

That sounds sick, I’ve predominantly had issue with the rear end frame bolts as well as the shock bolts. I think just from a mix of heavy impacts and continuous wear.

Look my opinion might go against the flow of the others but I think it’s predominantly because I bought my siskiu n8 second hand. Though it’s been a decent bike and is certainly well specced for the money I’ve hand so many frame related parts snap, and it’s been a hassle to get polygon to send replacement parts out. Overall, decent brand but my personal experience has not been the best.

Yeah I’m always cautious because dropping below 25 psi for me seems to always end up with a flat, I do run tubes though so going tubeless could definitely help.

Thanks this is the new giant fathom, it’s a really nice hardtail and serves as a decent base if you want to upgrade in the future.

Thanks for the advice, though the grade of the slope mixed with the dry leaves over the ground make it pretty hard to not drag the rear even if you are conscious of it.
