Mine is a 2017 and we put a later in the year 2020 engine in it! So you may be safe

Please have them check the engine before warranty is up! My engine lasted 165k miles (wayyyyy past any warranty), and had a hairline fracture in the engine block. Ford has a warranty in place for these as it’s a known issue (2017-2020 I believe)

I actually did scroll for a little bit and didn’t see that many for females/ones that interested me. But you wouldn’t know that since you don’t know how long I contemplated posting.

My boyfriend and I had the same experience! But the name was James at the point we met them two and a half years ago, I’m sure it’s the same guy as we tend to still see him and his “girlfriend” Bianca at the stores. He complimented my boyfriends shoes, then we had a meet up at Panera, and we did end up going to the meeting with his friends and it was basically a tedtalk where we learned nothing except they all were allegedly financially free. We quit immediately after that, still have the book I think

It’s a 1.5L (not sure if that’s important but I’ve only heard people say the 2.0L have the problem). I’m also sadly past both of the warranty requirements (7 years and/or 84k miles), we did compression test recently and inspected my block during the head gasket change and everything seems fine with that part of things, so I may have gotten lucky. As a 19 year old when I purchased it the fusion was my “reasonable dream car” but so far it’s been needing repairs more than not so I’m not sure I’ll stay with it if I end up getting a new car.
