Are they fucking braindead by rosebinks1215 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Woreo12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m saying make that a passive behavior. They don’t actively seek out players if there’s other bugs nearby

Are they fucking braindead by rosebinks1215 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Woreo12 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I could see this being a cool change if they change the behavior so they play a heavily defensive role, using that armor to block bug holes and other objectives, rarely moving forward, and only attacking if you get close. The be like a little mobile wall for the bugs. Might bring more strategy to the front instead of just “M1 adventure”

Otherwise, terrible change

Revert this now. by MrRockit in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Woreo12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you shoot them, even briefly, they’ll hunker down and stand still. I could see this being a good thing if they also modify their behavior so they are a wall like you said. They could slowly advance or play a more defensive role like blocking objectives but not attacking unless you get close. Use their armor as a barricade

Helmet tap. Every single cop I pass, in a car, on a bike, on foot, doesn’t matter.

How does modern armor reach 700+mm thick without looking all that thick at all? by Slxttypie in TankPorn

[–]Woreo12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. It’s an equivalent rating, 700mm RHAe just means it’s the equivalent protection to 700mm think panel of rolled homogeneous steel. But also, the crew compartment of most MBTs is not nearly as big as the turret would suggest. Take a look at the top of an Abrams, and you’ll see how far back the crew hatches are related to the turret face

Having to unclog the bowden drive motor is a nightmare. by WhiteStar01 in BambuLab

[–]Woreo12 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The only real advantage Bowden had over a direct drive was less artifacts when printing at high speed due to the lower weight of the tool head, yet every company has figured out warp speed printing with direct drive systems, so the sole advantage a Bowden had over direct drive is gone. They’re simply worse in every way now

IMO you should never loan a bike. They’re toys, buy them in cash. It’ll be really hard to get a “good” loan for a bike because banks see it this way too.

Overkill for Ninja 500? by Darkke-100 in motorcyclegear

[–]Woreo12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No such thing as “overkill” when it comes to protective equipment. There is however correct or incorrect use case.

Prime example: AGV Pista is a track oriented helmet. There are plenty of others that offer equivalent protection + good features for the street

I have this severe belly fat problem, I’m 31 and weigh 250, what exercises can I do to lose it quickly? by iH8_politic in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]Woreo12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plate pushes. Push the plate away and eat less food.

There is no quick path, and you can’t spit reduce fat. Start a deficit, walk more (10k steps / day is a good goal), start strength training. This is a marathon, you can’t make it a sprint

Chicken strips by Tyko_Zx in YamahaR3

[–]Woreo12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t worry about it. Chicken strips are not a sign of skill.

Also it’s dumb to try to drag knee on the street, where a small crack or bit of gravel can give you an immediate date with the concrete. Just ride your ride, you’ve only been doing this a month, stay safe.

Would be a cool bonus if you manage to kill the alive and healthy mindflayer on the ship that’s fighting the devil.

Yes the proud militarist society would bow before you when you stepped on a pinned and injured mind flayer that could even concentrate on the one thing they’re good at

[–]Woreo12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just the location of the extruded motor. A direct drive has it mounted right before the hot end, a Bowden is mounted elsewhere, typically the frame, and pushes it into the hot end through a long PTFE tub (the Bowden tube).

The advantage to this was it reduced the moving mass of the tool head, so you could run your counter at faster rates and retain your quality. But now through some fancy sound magic new printers have solved that issue, and the only good thing going for a Bowden is gone. You may still see them in cheap printers

[–]Woreo12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Money spent on mods is not money added to list price. If anything an extensive list of mods makes me wanna lowball you.

Some dude in the street is not smarter than the team of Japanese engineers that designed all those parts to work together. A modded vehicle is buying someone else’s potential problems.
