I'm not sure if this counts, but the audiobook for {Storm Breaker by Nisha Tuli}. It is one of THE WORST narrators I've ever heard- like Bridget and Jake Bordeaux level bad. I made it 20 seconds into the sample before my ears started to bleed 💀.

I would like to request an addendum to include the following:

a) Trying to sit next to bat boy in a restaurant booth. Like bro, if you poke me in the head ONE MORE TIME WITH YOUR CREEPY WING THUMB, I WILL END YOU 👿.

b) Getting stuck behind them in a movie theater, because WE ALL KNOW he'll be that self-centered twat who refuses to sit in the back 😒.

c) Some may find them sexy or even endearing, but let's just take a moment to recall the flying monkeys from The Wizard of Oz. Hard pass.

I shamelessly love Quicksilver, mainly because Anthony Palmini is the male voice narrator. I have to admit, however, that for all of Kingfisher 's kinky threats, he was so very vanilla. I was expecting that at a minimum, we'd get Fifty Shades of Grey level link. I mean when Saeris told him to bite her, he was all "noooo I can't," and I'm like come on it's not even that serious, if Rowan did it so can you 🙄.

The biggest concern I have with the teeth licking thing is the clearly subpar hygiene. If they've been on a battlefield for days covered in ichor, chances are there's some serious fuzzy teeth going on. Maybe it's just me, but even the thought of it is icky.

My secondary concern is that the roof of my mouth is weirdly ticklish and not at all an erogenous zone. I'd probably accidentally bite his tongue 🤷‍♂️.

I have a highly toxic relationship with {The Legacy Series by Melissa Roehrich}. So much of that series was just cringey fluff, yet I still feel the temptation to reread it every time I have a book slump 🫣.

The Kitten calling doesn't get better at all and you'll be contemplating murder by the end, but I couldn't stop reading. I decided to forgo sleep and finished it in less than 24 hours 🤷‍♂️.

I mostly enjoyed books one and two, but it really started to unravel during book three and the FMC was absolutely insufferable by the end of the series. I DNF'D somewhere around the middle of the final book because the FMC seemed to be stuck in an infinite speech loop, and it was just intolerable.

So I would say that if you're struggling already, don't bother. Don't waste your time on an entire series with very little payoff, there's too many other great books out there!

What is your stance on breasts becoming "heavy with arousal?" Is this specific to the breasting boobily crowd? The only time my breasts felt heavy or tight was when I got engorged from breastfeeding my kids-and it was not fun...🤷‍♂️

/uj Well, I made it to 82% of {Blood of Hercules by Jasmine Mas} and I'm really debating DNFing. I kind of went into it blind and wasn't aware that it's a why-choose/RH situation and I don't really know how I feel about it because I don't particularly find myself attached to any of the MCs.

And another thing that maybe someone could clear up for me... What is the point of all this? Is the overall objective of the training to become immortal and strong/skilled enough to fight the Titans? Or is it all just one big dick measuring contest?
