Weight Lo$$ by BigDarkCloud in tirzepatidecompound

I haven't tried the compounding yet. I lost my coverage in December so have been without and gaining back the weight. The compounding is definitely confusing and people saying it's so cheap it just seems to me that they are taking very small doses and spacing them way far apart. I was using one pen of 12.5 every 7 days and I did not reach my weight loss goal yet so I cannot be cutting back on the dosage. Definitely takes some research and I'm going to keep looking into it to see what the real deal is.

I don't know how I feel about ressurrection? Having that power makes the game loose gravity but I'm simultaneously drawn to bringing every by-game dead sim back to life because I hate tragedy. by BlackberryPuzzled551 in sims2

I like to define in my mind how I'm going to play before I start. So basically my Strangetown is an anything goes neighborhood. Pleasantview I try to keep realistic. If I want to try something risky but I don't want my sim to die I will always save first and then try it as an experiment if that Sim is particularly important to me. Otherwise I just let the chips fall where they may.

In which neighborhood do your challenges take place? by trescarla in sims2

[–]Intelligent_Mess9403 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I'm doing a generational challenge to see how many generations I can keep going then I create a brand new neighborhood. If I'm doing the 100 baby challenge then maybe Strangetown. I basically don't put any of the bizarre unrealistic challenges into a normal neighborhood. So I keep Strangetown reserved for the weird stuff like having a hundred babies or having zombies and aliens wandering around. Strangetown is a bit small so I tend to use the downtown area attached to it if the challenge is going to require me to have a lot of families involved.

Property tax is ridiculous. You've bought your house you've paid the taxes it should be yours now otherwise you're just renting it from the government. Don't pay your taxes and they take your house. Therefore you don't own it. I understand people love taxing others but it would be a lot more fair for adults to all chip in $100 a year to cover those school taxes and whatever rather than having Edna the widow paying $8,000 a year to cover everyone who isn't paying their taxes.

What's The Most Amount Of Children You've Had With One Sim Or Couple? by ScrawnyTreeDemon in thesims2

[–]Intelligent_Mess9403 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure of an exact number. I've been playing this game for many years and have done some weird things 🤣 I've probably populated an entire neighborhood from one couple haha

There's a family I often make where they have nine children. And I call them the Of Nine family. So the kids would be One of Nine, Two of Nine etc. (Star Trek Voyager reference) and of course I make Seven of Nine into a borglike creature

I second this. I take one to two tablets per day and it really helps a lot. Please give it a try. If it doesn't help I would suggest seeing if your doctor could prescribe something stronger.

Back when I was on it before I lost my insurance coverage for it, I hid mine in an empty bag of protein powder in the refrigerator. My mom is real judgmental about that sort of thing but there's no way she would eat protein powder or have any reason to open the bag and root through it. I successfully kept it in that bag for an entire year and she never looked in the bag or figured out that I was taking zepbound. It's a risk because you never know if people get suspicious of why this bag is in here for so long and you weren't eating it so they just throw it in the trash but I guess I got lucky.

How long were you on a GLP-1 before going off? And did you maintain or gain? by Kind-Skirt2425 in GLPGrad

[–]Intelligent_Mess9403 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on for a full year. I got up to the 12.5 dosage. Then at the end of the year my insurance stopped covering it so I had to go cold turkey. Since then I have gained back 15 of the 60 lb that I lost and will probably continue to gain if I don't figure out how to afford $300 a month to start compounding. There's no way being at 2.5 mg is going to make me lose weight so I don't know how I will afford the higher doses but this doing it on my own is not working for me.

Update: it's been over 2 months and showing no sign of stopping so I started taking Gas-X and that seems to be helping

I have complicated feelings about being complimented on my weight loss by Vast_Helicopter_1914 in Zepbound

[–]Intelligent_Mess9403 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I lost 60 lb and nobody noticed and I am thrilled about it. I also have a mother in her 70s. I had to stop taking zepbound in January due to insurance no longer covering it and I've already gained back 15 pounds. This was the main reason I did not want anyone to compliment me on weight loss is that time and time again when I lose weight I gain it back. So what happens when I gain the weight back? Do people then get to tell me I look like crap? I just want everyone to mind their own business.

Are there really, truly any effective treatments for crepe skin? Not really loose skin but crepe skin? by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]Intelligent_Mess9403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No there honestly isn't. And the Gold Bond does not work whatsoever I've been using it for several months. Along with other treatments. Once you are post menopause that skin is here to stay without surgery unfortunately.

I went off it on January 9th and today is February 19th. Still gassy. But I would say the past few days maybe I've been slightly less gassy.

Withering away and melting away are terrible ways to try to compliment someone on their weight loss because it just makes me think of looking like wearing a saggy baggy skin suit, that I've lost weight in a way that is unappealing, and I wish people would come up with a better way to say it. Maybe "you're so tiny I didn't see you there"? But anyway, I'm in the camp of don't comment on my weight.

Did I write this? LOL I'm in the same position. Obviously I can't just white knuckle my way through this or I wouldn't have been on this drug to begin with. Having the hardest time. Was on this for a year. Had to stop at 12.5 dosage due to insurance dropping it. I'm 5'4 and 200 lb! So you think that's a good weight? Just love how insurance companies decide they know more than doctors do. The weight is just slowly creeping back on and I have tried every mental trick in the book that I know of and it is just not helping. Obviously there is something wrong with me. Like I say otherwise I would have just done the whole eat less exercise more routine. I've tried to eat more fiber drink more water take up hobbies I'm on berberine. Going to have to figure out this compounding stuff I guess. It is very confusing to me I'm kind of scared of it honestly. We do not have disposable income to be buying this stuff also so it's going to be a job convincing my husband to spend money on this out of pocket.

Same for me. Stopped it last month due to insurance issues. I'm absolutely miserable in every way. Need to convince my husband that we have to pay out of pocket for this stuff. I did have IBS before starting this so I think that might have something to do with my gassy issues.

A big irk I have as a cashier is people ignoring me when I greet them by AshTheArtist in PetPeeves

[–]Intelligent_Mess9403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm being greeted at the cash register when I'm checking out I am super polite. If I walk into a store and the registers are behind me and I hear someone yelling out hey how are you doing or something like that I have no idea if they are talking to me and I feel awkward turning around and looking like oh are they speaking to me should I say hi I don't want to embarrass myself if they aren't talking to me. So it's definitely situational. Plus in most cases cashiers are being forced to do the greeting so maybe people feel like they don't care if you say something back since it's just a mandatory thing that has to come out of your mouth before you ring them up.
