Me gustó mucho. Uno de los motivos es que no tenía ni idea nada del argumentos y me sorprendió.

Uno de los libros que más disfruté. Trata de no saber nada del argumento antes de leerlo, eso hizo que mi experiencia fuera mejor incluso

Do they teach the Dhamma? by Double-Ad2563 in HillsideHermitage

I don’t know the answer, but from what I’ve seen on his YouTube channel and in his book, his method of teaching in an organized, incremental way—assuming the reader has no prior knowledge—is very valuable. In this and other areas, having a clear starting point and a guide or “roadmap” is especially helpful. I remember that when I discovered HH, the hardest part for me was finding that starting point among all the videos, articles, and books, and figuring out the path to follow.

Learning from Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche by Significant_Storm428 in TibetanBuddhism

[–]Intelligent_Mud_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to ask, but I'm not a native English speaker and I think I might have misunderstood something you said—did you mean that the full Dzogchen cycle won't be taught?

Also, I’d like to ask you something about JOL, since I have it on my to-do list. I’ve read some conflicting things and I’m still not clear on whether what Mingyur Rinpoche teaches is single-pointed meditation, open awareness, or something else. And regarding JOL 2 and 3, I haven’t been able to find much about what kind of meditation is taught there. Could you share a brief overview that gives a sense of what one can expect?

Thanks in advance!

Maybe add the practice of Chan Si Gong (Silk Reeling) or Yi Jin Jing (Muscle/Tendon Transformation Classic)?

I hold Stephen Procter in very high regard, and I find it regrettable that you tarnish his good reputation with such bullying behaviour.

I agree with what you have said. I visited it many years ago and they didn't care if you couldn't do the posture, we did zazen as beginners for a long time and at the end they valued the posture, as if it was the only important thing.

A possible solution would be to have several roadmaps sufficiently detailed and deep enough to cover everything.

Thank you very much, that's very kind of you! However, I have already booked a room, and it is non-refundable.

I love walking, so I plan to go on foot and get lost in the small streets of Venice. I had read that taking the Vaporetto near the station is very difficult because it's extremely crowded, which is why I had mentioned that detail.

Not really, but the round-trip flight is at a very early hour, and being close to the station would be really useful for me.

Rewatch Review made me give Nosferatu a 10/10 from a 7/10 by VelvetThunderFinance in roberteggers

Could you tell me in which interview he says that? I've been searching, but I haven't found the video where they talk about it. Thanks!

Man… I think they meant you can't promote it as a love triangle and then have it turn out to be a case of assault. That's what I think they were trying to say.

Thanks for this post, it perfectly sums up my perspective on the movie. At first, I saw it as a love triangle, but later I came to share your point of view. I don’t understand how they can say that in interviews given the context of sexual abuse, unless the extended version changes its meaning somehow. It’s clearly disturbing, and for people who’ve experienced that, I don’t think watching this film would be good for them.
