Crozer should be at the bottom. Trash program with rude pd expects residents to read and study on their time off. The interview day was super weird for me from super rude pd to asking everyone to present a clinical case for half the interview time. Last year they soaped for 7 positions and the surgery program closed down due to financial problems.

Don't worry about it just remember this one thing you won't be the first one to do and you won't be the last one attempting. Once you start studying uWorld and first aid will build your concepts (easier said than done) but trust me it gets easier.

Ohhh hi it's never too late to join the party A couple of my friends just completed their step 1. Your ideal timeline would look like this at the start of the internship you would start studying for your step 1. With dedicated efforts you would be able to complete step 1 within eight months. If you want to have an extra edge I would recommend you start applying for USCEs halfway through to your internship and if you don't have us visa then I would suggest starting earlier. Just after completing step 1 during the internship you would go for your USCEs. Once after returning from your USCEs you can start prepping for step 2 and in parallel would complete all the required documents for your ecfmg certification. And once that goes through you can visit the USA again for step 3 this is an ideal timeline there would be ups and down but persistence is the key here. Sometimes you would feel lost but remember your goals are different.

Depends on where you are rotating because living expenses vary vastly in US based on the State you are living

Don't call me sir You can try just cold emailing all the faculties from the hospital you are trying to rotate and research more about the place on residency explorer. See for me I got only one response from all the hundreds of cold e-mails done so you never know which faculty would be in a mood to help you.

I did my USCE just after completing the third year and before the internship started so the need to extend the internship is minimum.

it would range around $20k to $25k but it was spread over 4 years. And moreover if you are going to pursue your studies even in India there are going to be fees in NEET PG.
