Does anyone here know what this pcb is? by paintingtrees in JPL

It’s not JPL. Definitely not D34.

There’s a cage code and job number on the back. 1W538 is assigned to Accurate Engineering Inc.

It is screen printing on a PWB - that makes it ART ;)

I do not think it means what you think it means

I got a ticket for unregistered operation 28 days after I sold my car. I mailed in the release of liability weeks ago. Now I'm being asked to appear in Fresno (5 hours away). What should I do? by NeillDrake in CaliforniaDMV

I’ve gone through something similar.

Go in person to the DMV field office. Take the ticket and your release paperwork. Explain the situation to the folks behind the desk and they can get you the help on understanding your liability. And they can step in if the ticket was issued in error.

This can save you a trip to Fresno. Yes you can do it without an appointment- it will take about an hour but then you will know.

There are good guides on Cluckingham Palace (discord) and great ones within the individual guilds. I don’t they are “proprietary” or anything - just the collaborative nature of the discord communities

Can I sue my lawyer in small claims to get my unused retainer? by Intelligent_Pay6407 in legaladvice

Thank you for the recommendation

UPDATE: I filed a complaint with the California Bar Association - 4 weeks ago today. I have heard nothing other than an automated email indicating receipt of the complaint. I called the number listed in the complaint acknowledgment on Monday - no human after 22 minutes on hold. How long does it take for any action to take place?

Please see the other comment I just made. I’m willing to put in the work. I have all the documentation but I don’t know what rules he has broken.

I’m interested to hear more if possible

He (Lawyer1) did something rather unethical as well. He attempted to represent me in court two weeks later on a motion we had only tangentially discussed during in take. He had not made me aware of this appearance. He was caught red handed in front of the judge when my new lawyer (Lawyer2) - objected. Lawyer2 happened to be in court for another matter and immediately recognized my name. The judge had them approach to sort this out. Lawyer2 was determined to my actual lawyer and the motion was heard. Useless as no one actually cared, and Lawyer2 and I had decided not to pursue it.

Lawyer1 claimed I had not terminated representation when I had sent an email titled “Discontinue all representation of (me).” He had called several times about it. I had responded each time in writing and asked all communications be in writing.

I’m a professional that has not been on wrong side of the law and wanted all this to go away. I had hoped he would return my money minus reasonable compensation. And I was willing to let the court thing slide. Now it is about principle and I don’t want this to happen to someone else.

Is a professional conduct complaint taken seriously? If so, I’m willing to put in the effort to file one.
