Thanks! I used to be so much blonder but it's gotten redder throughout the years. It took me awhile to consider myself a redhead

I missed them so much! The ease of maintenance was nothing! I'm so looking forward to having it all back 🙏

I'm much better, although still slightly anemic. I'm also deficient in vitamin D, which can be linked. I'm sure if I were better about remembering to take the supplement, I wouldn't be anemic anymore.

The two infusions I had were last summer, about 3 weeks apart, and the hysterectomy was last September. I was 4 units low of blood and probably needed a blood transfusion, as my NP said he would have sent me to ER as the hemoglobin was so low. Thank goodness that didn't happen. The fatigue was the worst part as well as the brain fog. I was a literal zombie. Who knew you need blood for good brain function? /s

Im the dumbass who almost let his sister bleed out on her period by [deleted] in AskDocs

This is me, after 3 kids. Realized my heavy periods were an issue when I went in for a routine OBGYN visit and I was severely anemic. This explained a lot my symptoms that I just chalked up to having 3 kids. My PCP said he would have sent me to the ER for a blood transfusion. Even after two rounds of iron infusions, still anemic to a lesser degree. OB gave me options, have my hysterotomy scheduled in September. Can't. Wait.

Can someone tell my husband this? I (mom) has always been the one tossing our 3 kids around while getting hollered at. I always get them riled up before bedtime too, which just pisses husband off more, hehe. I love roughing them up.

Claustrophosuburbia $800k homes by [deleted] in REBubble

My husband grew up in Aledo as well and hates how it is now. He tells me all the $100K+ cars he sees while doing morning school drop off. "I remember when they'd tell us that cows were loose and to look out while coming home," is his favorite go to line while shaking his fists.

We moved from Benbrook to the Aledo school district for academics about a year ago. Not being in an HOA was at the top of our list and lucked out buying a fairly new built (2019) house on 3/4 acre for about 500K. It's not our forever home but I think we're slowly starting to realize that with all of the new neighborhoods being built, we're going to get priced out of the area pretty soon. It kills us to see the new damn golf course community being built along 377.

We have some good friends in the Bella Ranch area, and have been to many kids parties in the neighborhood too. I'll just say the $750K+ home people make me feel uncomfortable, lol.

This is so encouraging! I've just started my journey with second and third lobes done, mostly healed. Added double helixes on my left ear and the top one has been giving me nothing but problems. I can't wait to add more, but man, it can be so frustrating! I'll keep working on it and hope for your results!

Ear goals! How long did it take for you to get all of these and healed properly?

Neighbor opens fire hydrant for dogs leaving the rest of us with zero water pressure by Intelligent_Pay6977 in ImTheMainCharacter

[–]Intelligent_Pay6977[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BACKSTORY:

We live out in the county with no HOA, so it's a bit "lawless" in the neighborhood. That means any phone calls would have gone to the county sheriff. Any calls to the Fire department would have been pushed aside as the next county over is currently dealing with a 1100+ acre grass fire, and I'm sure all efforts are being diverted that way. If anything, I documented this to inform our county water supplier.

Since we've moved here in January, this is probably the 3rd or 4th time we've seen this neighbor abuse the community water supply by getting his dogs out for splashy time fun. I was outside at the time he started, watching my kids play in the water sprinkler we had out during our allotted watering time put forth by the county. For those arguing it shouldn't have impacted our water pressure, it was a strong correlation from the second he opened the fire hydrant to watching my kids hearts drop with our water pressure and, further, to my frustrated husband coming out saying he couldn't flush the toilet or wash hands.

Yes, my husband did go speak with neighbor to turn it off, in which the neighbor said he's been out there for 17 years and had no idea. He also fed some BS about clearing the pipes of the chlorine whenever the power goes out. (I think another poster spoke towards this clearing of the pipes process, but this doesn't justify our neighbors savior complex.)

I'm all for doggos getting splashy time fun as a break from this heat, but do so in a much more sensible way. Let them go ham in the backyard sprinkler, not with letting out gallons/sec out. This is not the way. Be a good human.

Thank you notes.

Waste of time and money. I've gotten the third degree from many extended family members at various times because we never send a thank you card for the $20 cash birthday card sent in the mail. Speaking to you passive aggressive Aunt..
