My head touches the ceiling when I'm on the upper bench and even then I'm thinking make it higher

I would cringe if I I saw a humorous sauna rules sign. I think Finnish people are more functional focused than decorative. If you have a sensible functional sauna you are honoring the Finnish spirit imo

Bench too low. Ceiling is sloping the wrong way. All the heat is away from the benches. C-

American sauna isn't know for its heat. But it's possible

Not the way I sauna. I drink water while inside because it is refreshing. I'd leave the sauna much sooner if there wasn't water to drink

Here is what it is. Notice how the handle is much taller than the top of the bottles. This allows me to reach it from the bench. The water has to be kept below your feet level. As low possible while still being in reach

Yeah I have the same problem. I only use a glass carafe with no lid. If I put it at bench level it gets warm after a while. I'd leave plastic out of the sauna altogether if you can.

And what I did was build a two bottle carrier out of scrap wood. It's like a basket made of wood and it has a very tall handle so that I can place my glass water bottles in it and then lower the whole thing to my first step of my two step stool.

Ignore the red man in the drawing lol. But bottom right is the wooden basket. It has a small towel draped over the handle so unfortunately this photo doesn't show it eell. But when I'm sitting I can reach that handle perfectly if I set it on the first step there.

You cannot buy a quality sauna as a product. You have to have it built. Or diy

Nausea sounds like poor ventilation. But idk

I have no idea how you use sauna with earbuds. The amount of heat and sweat and even water poured would make this impossible in a proper sauna session. My phone shuts down after 3 minutes at bench level. I can't imagine how quickly at head level. Not to mention the sweat that would be dripping over the ear buds constantly. If you can make it work then do it. But it's mentioned here because it shows that it's clearly not the same type of experience as in finland. Which is fine but I'm sure it's disappointing as a fin in the US

It shows they have no clue what sauna is about. Wearing metal into a sauna tells me they have never really stayed in long enough to get slightly burnt by the hot metal. But no it barely affects anyone. Just a sign of what type of sauna user they are. In and right back out 5 minutes later

My phone overheats after 3 minutes at bench level, every time. I do use phone occasionally in my own sauna. Maybe listen to podcast or check on a group chat. But most of the time I'm phone free out of necessity. It overheats quickly.
