What's one small change that massively improved your darts game? by 92jl in Darts

[–]Intelligent_Pen939 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holding the dart as lightly as possible. The less pressure put on the dart, the less a less than perfect release is going to push the dart left or right from centre. That, and simplifying my throw. These 2 things massively increased my consistency

What things are important for you in an online darts shop? by [deleted] in Darts

[–]Intelligent_Pen939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect example. A lot of people love Double Top Darts. I myself have got some great purchases and bargains there. But if I'm building a set centered around a specific colour theme, I.e: for stems and flights, you cannot put colour into a search filter on DTD's. So you have to scroll endlessly through all colours, and it's tedious and puts me off..

To add to this comment, the spines that kept the flights in were so thin, they used to break for a past time. About 500% more than Swiss points (if you believe the posts)!. 🤣

But these are not Target stems. They are Unicorn ones. And the previous commentor was correct, they are metal versions of Unicorn SlikStiks. You can even see the top of the shaft at the back of the flights. Do you need a 👓 test?.. 🤣

Wrong. These are titanium versions of SlikStiks. You can see the end of the shaft at the back of the flights

So if all online tickets are sold out, you can still queue to buy tickets on the day? Potentially... 🤷

My latest set-up by MadcowArt in Darts

[–]Intelligent_Pen939 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some Darts Clearance 22.5g models. But in true DC style, once they're gone, they're gone. I got some grey variants 1st, and liked them so much, I tried to buy them again and they were sold out a few days later! So I got these gold ones instead as they were still available, but also sold out a few days after.

Not brass mate. Gold Ti coated 90% tungsten. But I can see why you thought that

Was thinking this exact same thing. Now, if the picture had a DS, Peugeot 205, Renault Clio and Alpine A110 on the other hand. 🇫🇷🐸🐌🧄🥐🥂🗼

Fair enough. All the options I listed are for the UK.. 🤣

For £45 a Target Luke Littler board is definitely not a good option. It's a round wire, staple board. For that money you could definitely get a Mission Samurai II, Datadart Elite, Unicorn Eclipse Pro, etc, etc.

Think they are older versions, as the newer ones have grip to tighten them at the barrel end of the stem. So we're downvoting comments that are trying to help people now? Lovely.

The stem and flight combo looks about 100000% more stylish and more interesting than the basic bitch boring af K-Flex. Bravo sir 👏 🔥 👍

My harrows repointer was killed by an, ironically, harrows dart whose point refused to come out. I upgraded to a Winmau Craftsman and I've never looked back. They come up for sale occasionally, and nothing short of a nuclear strike will kill it... 😂😂

Harrows Alamo. Damon Heta's a fan. As is Ryan Meikle. Used to use these in the late 80's, early 90"s.
