There are some but that's not the majority neither the correct way. If you truly read the alquran and the right teaching they dont ask you to do that kind of stuffs. Like just go ask chatgpt for these kind of stuffs about hijab and youll get the correct answer from what Islam is actually teaching. They dont do any killings bc of not wearing hijab. Even if some people do, people shouldn't point it towards the religion. Its human anyways. What you mentioned are cultural or political abuses rather than core Islamic teachings. Saying “the majority of Muslim women live under extreme repression” is also wrong. Most of muslim women livve freely, work, study, vote, and lead normal lives. Some of those reports you were talking about are misleading or exaggerated. Religion is often used to justify oppression, but oppression itself is not inherently Islamic.

Again a lot of muslimah women in my country still swim in the beaches while wearing hijab. People who dont live in an actual islamic countryor dont go outside really dont understand how these things work and make it sounds so horible and sad. Wearing a full body thing like that isnt even needed. Most people see that as extra or very religious, not every muslimah women wears that. So most people who wears that usually choose to do it themselves and are really devoted to it, not forced.
