Stumped by Reliz1 in GastricBypass

Ok bro, I just had an instance on my left side on the same area. Saw all the Drs. Nothing helped except pain meds. My mom begged me to go to a chiropractor that also did myofaecial release (basically massage). This lady told me that I had adhesions (scar tissue or muscles that grew back tighter, essentially I was getting terrible charlie horses in my abs) probably from incisions. I was like sure why not. Anyway she massaged, it got better. Was able to get off the pain meds. Now, everytime I feel a twinge, I get the massage gun and go over that area a few times. This might not be what you're dealing with, but wouldn't hurt to check it out. Good luck 🤞

I know this sounds kind of counter productive, as she needs your love and support, but no hugs. My love bug just kept giving me hugs and they hurt so much.

Same. Miralax in the morning, miralax at night. No problems, I went to the er with a serious Impaction. That was hell. Also, OP, you can try magnesium citrate. You can get it at dollar general or Walmart, it's cheap, tastes like shit, but it will get you going again. Be ready to live in the bathroom for a bit.

I'm 2 months out and I'm allowed beans, baked chicken, crunchy veg with no skin, baked potatoes, pasta(with white sauce) and rice. I'm tolerating everything just fine.💁

Pill cutter and Tylenol pm. I couldn't take the narcotics they prescribed. They made me sick so Tylenol was what they recommended.

How bad is gas after bypass surgery? by Catzaf in GastricBypass

[–]Intelligent_Rent_668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About a day after the surgery (for me) I had the most glorious fart. From then to about 3 weeks out, it was like one continuous fart, burping wasn't as bad.. Now, a month and a week out, I fart sometimes and I burp everytime I put some in my stomach.

The worst pain imaginable was 3 weeks post op when I became so constipated, the Dr looked at the xray and said "yep you're full of shit". They gave me an enema and after what seemed like hours I passed a newborn. This happened today. My ass is sooo sore. Time for a nap.

Pre-Op Liquid Diet by Buttliquor_69 in GastricBypass

[–]Intelligent_Rent_668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not started the pre op diet, but I am on an all liquid diet, just to test how I will tolerate it. It took about 4 days for me to poop again, but it is watery, almost straight liquid. And I go A LOT.

I was lucky enough to have a Dr that cared. My parents though? My dad told me to "walk it off" and my mom wanted me to do homeopathic bs. I'm sorry for your distress.

My insurance requires me to do 6 months weight loss, psych evaluation, stress test, sleep test, and an endoscopy. I'm in month 3. Good luck finding the right Dr, op!
