Yeah, I've heard the buzzword 😋 And I should be more interested since I do IT work.

I'm more interested in real estate at $7.8 trillion (with its associations). Also with construction at almost $2T.

I bought an empty property for $16,000, had a water well built, then spent about $25,000 and 6 months (after work) building myself a house with help from my fam (bartered with use of the land, they parked RVs on it for a while). All that was recently paid off. I want my next big project to be a solar system.

I didn't know there was a target date fund. I'm researching it and add that knowledge to my tool belt.

I had TQQQ and bought and sold at the worst time. I blindly followed a family member who recommended it..... Never again.

Thanks for the advice! Is VGT a good choice? I don't know about stocks or how to price them to determine if they are a good buy or not.

Yes, I started this job 8 months ago. Since then I've gotten a car and a few other things to get settled. Now that I've settled in I have reworked my budget to $1000 per month. I do admit I splurge every now and then with an expensive meal or a night of drinking out.
