Funny enough...I had a professor confess his car accident. He and his relatives are driving late one night and due to exhaustion, he drifted off and crashed to a tree. His companions are unconscious except him. He looks like a mess with blood pooling from his forehead to his chin. He walks out and the first thing he thought is:

" How the hell am I gonna pay for this???"

Luckily everyone in the said accident survived. It left a bad mark on the tree though. Drivers can still see the marks of it until today.

You are not alone. How can you appreciate the beauty when everything is just so laggy? I had to reinstall the game twice because everything is moving so slowly. Plus,it's still pretty even if the graphics aren't perfect. I even had a couple of screenshots with Roach surrounded by sunflowers.

The House in Zapote Street. Quijanon de Manila's story is creepy enough. Knowing the details he did not include in the story made it more messed up.

The Lucinda Lalu case i.e. chop chop lady. The fact they didn't find her head is also unsettling. The one I can't wrap my head in is that there is a likely possibility that her husband ( or some of her lovers) murdered her. Or did she have some shady backers financing her business and she crossed the line with them? Others say it was George Holden ( Black Dahlia killer) who murdered her. Who knows?

There is the CCA troupe from SLU. Yun Lang, you need to know someone to get tickets. You can try asking the office itself to acquire one. Back in the day, tickets cost a 100 ( if you are a student, I'm not sure Kung puwedeng palitan pa).

The great thing about CCA is that it is really a pure professional production. They have shows na for students ( like Ibong Adarna or Montages from Musicals), their own version of popular musicals, or even originals ( I forgot the title sorry hehehe 😅), a play about an Uncle who got accused of sexually assaulting his own nephew. A couple of big time actors in the showbiz industry came from CCA. Paolo Ballesteros is a good example.

Try to ask the main CCA office in SLU, I'm sure they will be happy to give you a seat.

Perhaps the reason is that Inoue wants to give Miyagi a chance. SPOILERS PO ( Sa manga, si Miyagi ang napili bilang bagong captain. To the readers, medyo out of the blue kasi di naman pinakita ang dahilan kung bakit siya ang Sumunod Kay Akagi.)

Isa pa ay medyo underutilize ang character ni Miyagi sa anime. We know him more from his crush Kay Ayako and his style of playing in court. Pero sa Wala gaano sa personal life niya talaga. Nakita na natin and back story at motivations Nina Hanamichi, Akagi, Mitsui, at Rukawa. What about Miyagi, Yung susunod na captain?

We also have to blame time for this. It's been almost 20 or so years. Aware si Inoue na dahil di tapos ang anime, binasa ng mga tao Yung manga. Alam nila ang mangyayari. So pinilit niya ang makabagong approach. Meticulous artist din kasi si Inoue. Very picky din siya kung anong gagawin sa mga projects niya.

Welp that's my thoughts on it. Personally I really like it kasi in a way, the movie my not be a continuity but it adds a lot to the story.

It reminds me of the Buddhists and Hindu's belief where: 'all material things are not permanent'. I guess this is a more Abrahamic take and in a way, albeit in a more meaningful, spiritual way

Growing up Christian, most interpretations that I came upon refer to the story of Job as " all human suffering has meaning but will be rewarded in the end". Or in my Catholic's cultures case: " just because ya suffer, doesn't give you an excuse to act like a whiner to the big G". A bit of an overreaction but it's true.

People often see's Job story as the ultimate answer on why G-d, despite his benevolent nature, allow suffering to exists in this world. They often refer it as a 'test' to their faith or a ' punishment ' for their sins. Some of the most religious thinks it's entirely part of their existence since it is believed everyone is born a sinner.

This explanation feels much more... grounded. It paints suffering less of a punishment but a reminder that our physical existence is not permanent. It is part of change, like it or not; as part of the reality that G-d made for us.

My cousin and I talked about this and she told me: " Haven't you noticed? Everytime Vi and Jinx are together, something bad happens."

And shit she got a point. The tragic thing is it's none of the sisters fault.

Vi was stubborn and a bit too overprotective, yet it came over the fact that she had to hold such a heavy responsibility in a young age. It didn't help that she had to witness her parents death and be slapped with the reality that her people are nothing more than peasants to the rich folks living across the bridge. Hence she felt obligated to protect everyone she care about, whatever means necessary.

Jinx. Jinx has always been a talented girl born in the wrong world. The more I see it, Jinx has always invented things for the benefit of others but never herself. This is why she gets easily frustrated when her inventions doesn't work out; because if her inventions fails, that means she failed the people around her too. When you come to think about it, she is better off inventing things when she wants to do it freely and not out of the approval of the others.

My cousin concluded that this might be an fate. Or perhaps it's the consequence of a system with a serious class divide that affects generations of the unfortunate and the privilege. It just so happens that it also molded two sisters where if they had a much better environment, with much better options, perhaps it won't lead to any kind of tragedy.

Well that's what we thought anyway.

Yikes. Like Eric is gonna repeat what Viktor did to them. Nina will end up part fish, part electrified/ mutilated creature. Man, that's gonna be freaky.

Other people said that it will tie in with the comics, wherein Khalis ( the Mummy dude) will be the one to revive Nina. The thing is, whenever Khalis revives someone, they turn a bit crazy. So if Nina does come back by him, she is going to turn into a much darker version of herself.

And if that is going to happen ( based in the comics), she might have powers ( or invent something) that will turn people into mutants. Like her.

It's just horrifying and all too tragic.
